Hello everyone!

 

We've been pretty quiet about it so far, but we've been working on mods for GG2 as well. ^-^

 

GG:DP and GG2 actually use different engines- UE3 and UE4, respectively. Thankfully, there are many similarities. We've made a lot of progress in a short amount of time. We're hoping to release some mods soon.

 

In the meantime, some of the results of our tests. A "permanent panties" mod, and a stockings mod.

Alright, it's time to release the initial GG2 Mod pack!

 

Gal*Gun 2 Mod pack initial release

- Braless mod: just like it says. No more bras, just panties
- No underwear mod: removes the underwear texture from all the girls
- Stockings mod: all stockings, all the time
- Bare Basics+ mod: Mods the "Classic Summer Uniform" with the bare basics set, leaving the girls in just their underwear. In addition, nipples have been added to the model.

NOTE: The Bare Basics mod does not mod the default summer uniform. You need to equip the "Classic Summer Uniform" for it to work.

- Normal removal mod: removes the "normal" texture, removing the odd highlights around the girls' busts(always install this)

Update 1 - 08/04/18

 

- nude body texture was not the latest, updated it

- braless mod fixed, I missed some bras during removal

- added a no socks/stockings mod

First off, thanks for the so quickly released mod. ?

Unfortunately I don't get it to work. I did exactly as the instructions said and there are no changes.

Either the instructions are incomplete or I'm doing something wrong. Probably a mixture of both. ?

1. I renamed GalGun2-WindowsNoEditor.pak to GalGun2.pak and GalGun2-WindowsNoEditor.sig to GalGun2.sig
2. I created a new folder in ..\steamapps\common\GalGun 2\GalGun2\Content\Paks called Mods.

3. I dragged the files Mod_Nude.sig and Mod_Nude.pak from the folder "Nude Body Texture" to the Mods folder.

Result: nothing

4. I dragged the whole folder Nude Body Texture to the Mods folder

Result: nothing

5. I repeated all steps with the other folders

Result: nothing.?

You're supposed to equip the classic summer uniform. It seems bare basic doesn't work form me at least, its missing boobs. There is no texture for the torso just floating heads an limbs.

The invisibility bit should be taken care of by the mask removal mod, which should be in the bare basics folder.

Thinking it over, I'll look into combining to two mods later to avoid confusion and make things easier. You'll always need the mask removal mod if you're using bare basics, so there's no reason to have them separate.

 

I'll also look into clarifying how the bare basics mod works, in that yes, it only affects the classic summer uniform. You must have that equipped on the girls for it to work.

 

Sorry for the difficulties.

Ahh, GOT IT. Thanks VonVolx and thanks DarkHawk02 for your splendid work.?

 

Quick instructions to get the mods work:

 

1.Extract the archive.
2. Navigate to ..\steamapps\common\GalGun 2\GalGun2\Content\Paks
3. Rename GalGun2-WindowsNoEditor.pak to GalGun2.pak

4. Rename GalGun2-WindowsNoEditor.sig to GalGun2.sig
5. Create a new folder in ..\steamapps\common\GalGun 2\GalGun2\Content\Paks called Mods.

6. Put all files from bare basics and mask removal in the Mods folder - -> mandatory!

7. Put files from the mod you want in the mods folder.

7. change all costumes to "classic summer uniform"

I'm looking into how to remove the shoes from the Classic Summer Outfit as a separate mod as well.

Thanks for the mod, DarkHawk. Do you need to get to a certain point in the game to change the outfit for the girl that sits next to you in class? All the girls in the stages are nude but the girl in class is still wearing the default outfit.

Yes. All of the main characters are unlocked upon getting certain endings in the game. Specific requirements below(spoilers ahead)-

 

Spoiler

Risu, Chiru, and Nanako are all unlocked by getting any of their respective endings.

 

Kurona is unlocked by getting either Chiru's B or Nanako's B ending, as she does not have an ending of her own.

 

This is also the way you get the girls' numbers for Rendezvous mode.

What mods would I need installed to ONLY go nude if I sucked their clothes off, or, was in Doki Doki Mode? I dont really want them in forever endless nude mode xD. "Bare Basics" doesnt give a good description of what is packed in the mod in the download that is :3. Yee im running into invisible chests when I apply the normal v2 mod in combination with the bare basics mos :(.

Yeah, the instructions are pretty vague on this matter. Do you have applied the "mask removal" mod too (within the bare basics folder)? It's important.

Looking at the screenshots I would guess that you don't need more mods installed besides BB if you don't want the girls being naked all the time. But IDK.?

Hugbeez - The No pantsu mod is the only mod needed to remove the underwear. It removes the underwear from the girls at all times(so even when they have a uniform on, they'll still be wearing nothing underneath). Invisible chests sounds like the mask removal mod(which is in the Bare Basics folder) wasn't applied. I'm fixing it in a future patch.

 

I'll do my best to clear things up when I have the time to update things. Again, I'm sorry for the confusion.

Oh no it's totally fine :). I'm very VERY thankful that you and all of the other individuals are working on this. Everyone's work is amazing and I am happy to see such a solid community of people sticking to this franchise. Honestly, from the core of my being XD thank you for working on this. First, thank you. I appreciate the support. It means a lot to me to hear that people are enjoying the mods.

 

Second, while I appreciate the offer of a donation, I've made the decision to not take any money for these mods, donations or otherwise. I don't want money to muddy the waters. I do this because I care about it and it's what I wish to do, and I want to keep it that way.

 

Third, I have done some updating on the readme files for better clarity. I hope it helps people in the future when installing the mods.

There is no Prequirments to this DLC pack and everything is included in the download

This Mod Includes:
   Replacement of the 4 basic outfits (Summer Uniform, Gym Outfit, Basic Swimsuit, Teacher Outfits) so that you can pick which outfits to be nude
   Replacement of all character outfits so that all characters can be nude

  Options on who is nude and what outfits you want replaced with nudity as well as optional nudity levels for outfits such as if to have panties but no bra and so on
