Slavetats overlays disappearing underwater

Using slavetats to give my girl some tattoos, but I'm noticing that they simply don't show up anytime she's underwater. 

Googling didn't turn up much, just similar issues people were having, but with clothing instead of tattoos. 

Here's hoping anyone can explain to me what might be causing this.

As for the issue your having I can't seem to find a water replacer in your load order, do you have one I missed and does this happen outside of Goma as well?

 

 

What textures/body are you using and what ENB?  I'm a little jealous of how those legs look.  Though the only thing I can think of creating an issue like that is something that edits how Skyrim handles water rendering.  Also what kind of framerate do you get?

Aside from that what is Dwarfsphere from, is that Project AHO?  And after looking through your mod list what mods did you find you liked the most? 

 

You have a lot of mods in that load order that I have tried over the years and a few I haven't if you swear by some of the mods in that list I may have to try them out.

Body: it's just the UNP preset in UUNP

ENB: Tetrachromatic

 

Dwarfsphere is in fact Project AHO, tbh although I enjoyed the scenery and such, the actual quest left a bit to be desired.

VIGILANT is by far the best quest mod I've ever played, the original mod is in Japanese, but there's an English voiced patch out there

 

if there's anything in particular you'd like to know more about, just point it out I guess (otherwise this post is gonna get real long)

I've used Techrachromatic and I liked it but don't remember having an issue like this, I doubt it would be your ENB anyways.  Disappearing in the water is a rendering issue that occurs 

 

• Are you using a mod organizer or installing manually?  NMM or MO?
• Are you sorting with LOOT? 
• Do you make bashed or merged patch to solve conflicts?
• Is this Oldrim or SE?  I just want to make sure, you may be converting mods to SE as far as I know.
• Are you changing the alpha settings on the tattoos through showracemenu? This can prevent the tattoo from rendering correctly underwater.
• Do you have all of the requirements?  JContainers, RaceMenu (or NiOverride), SkyUI, SKSE? JContainers and NetImmerse Override don't have ESPs but they are nessisary for the mod to function correctly.  *I assume you have them or I suspect you would have bigger problems than having them disappear when you enter water. ((Like them not showing up ever.  :P))*
• Did you make any edits to the NIOverride.ini file when you first installed NIO and slavetats?  For instance, can you apply tattoos to your face in the MCM? Or is that greyed out? I'll post a screenshot of my own slavetats MCM either later tonight or tomorrow.
• Can you confirm this is happening outside of Goma? (Just coc  to the lady doom stone and go in the lake or something.)

 

If it is a mod conflict it's probably one of the ones below, but I don't think this is a conflict, just a settings or mod requirement thing.

Be sure you are ussing the last version of NiOverride or RaceMenu.

I remember a patch for correct underwater rendering in overlays, but can't find it now.

It is actually normal that textures with alpha channel underwater do not appear. It depends on the shader type and the shader flags of the mesh.
And for tattoos I would not change the body nif.

Tried this, and it just plain doesn't work for me. Not only does it make my overlays disappear entirely, it doesn't seem to play well with my ENB - from time to time light sources will suddenly blind me. If no one else is having this issue, then Pronema might be right:

lol i fixed it with that dll (dont forget to activate it in your enblocal.ini) but it caused eylashes transparency fuck with makeup overlays. so i guess for me its only when i do some photos in water occasional use. just  put "false" in "EnableProxyLibrary=true" to turn it off. maybe i could fix it with some eye nif tweaking but since i got like 200+ custom npcs its not worth hassle cause i would have to tweak and test each one.
