ATF not working right

So I installed a few follower mods along with floppy SOS and evil horse penis 2 aaaaand now I cant have more than one follower. I disabled every new mod I installed and reinstalled ATF, now it seems I can have 2 at a time. Anymore than that then one will stop following me. On some followers when I ask to follow they will, however when I go to talk to them again the "follow me" option will still be there, despite them following me. The ATF option to limit to 3 followers is not enabled. Tried playing on different saves and had the same issue.

Did you sort this with LOOT? Where is your merged and bashed patch? Not saying that is the problem. But, it is definitely some things you need with that many mods. Also move AFT down to the bottom of the list right above you patches and see if that helps. Always test on a new game.

Some followers e.g. Sofia use their own follower system.
You should not use AFT for these followers. And as described above - check your load order.

AFT should be below the Follower mods

 RDO https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/74568/  Requires a patch to work with AFT I did not see it in your load order also as stated above some followers in your load order will "break" if you do not use their follower dialog.  My advice is to uninstall AFT and RDO "delete completely"  play the game and change cell at least three time so above mods are no longer in your saves...leave game. First install AFT play game check to see if message top left says AFT installed. recruit a follower check dialog and tweaks works and it should.  Now leave game and re-download RDO and loose patches follow instructions and your followers will work with RDO and AFT. Use loot to sort and verify load order and placement of AFT RDO and patches.. patches need to be below in load order for there mods they patch.

Do no use AFT with Serena from Dawn-guard it will break her only use her dialog same for any custom follower who use their own dialog system...

I installed and ran loot, made sure atf was below all my follower mods, disabled sofia and recorder, and played on a new game. Don't have much time atm to try anything else but I am getting this whenever I try and have someone follow me: Tweak recruite nuetral missing parameter

And if I try and manage someone with atf I get: Script missing parameter (mod conflict?)

 

Tomorrow I will try uninstalling and re installing RDO and ATF and get the patches.

If those do not work there is another follower mod I use as I left AFT after using for a long time and always liked what it did however this makes AFT look bland and boring.  https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/33002/?tab=description the features this has is amazing. Do not let its feature intimidate you in the description it is easy to use and has a MCM menu to choose what you want to do and your followers are actually useful they hunt, gather herbs, seek out enemies if you choose just to name a few. One other feature anyone can be made a follower there is no cap on followers as AFT has when done with them just dismiss they go back to doing whatever they were doing before.
