Heyho,

I need help. For my main modding setup I wanted to switch over from MO1 to MO2 (yeah I know, better late than never).

All went good, though I can't start up the game anymore! I get CTDs before even the Main Menu picture shows up. And yes, I've already checked for missing masters.

Analysing the crash dump this came up:

"base_armor.dll" is the SKSE plugin of "SkyUI - Show Armor Slot". I deactivated the mod, the same crash dump with another SKSE plugin came up.
How can I fix that?

Apparently the SkyUI - Show Armor Slot mod does not work well with the latest Sky UI. You shouldnt just disable it, try actually removing it.  The mod was taken down from Nexus also it seems. If that fails, make sure your left pane is sorted correctly.

Even if MO2 works fine with Skyrim Oldrim for some users ,it is still advised to use MO1.. On its best day and if used by the most advanced user as possible, it would still work as good as MO1. There is nothing superior about MO2 over MO1 for Oldrim.

I use Oldrim, yes, and I have Win 10 64bit.

The mod was deactivated in the left pane of MO, so it was fully removed from the game. It's definitely not specific to Show Armor Slots, more likely it's a problem of MO2 with Oldrim in general.

The problem, why I wanted to switch though is, that LOOT doesn't work with MO1 for me anymore. If someone could tell me a solution to this, I would switch back to MO1, until Vortex is officially released :D

Loot is working fine for me on MO1 on both Windows 7 and 10. You need to make sure that MO is pointed correctly at Loots executable. I am using version 12.5 still though. Version 13.1 is out now, but I havnt bothered to update. Maybe 13/13.1 are having issues with MO. You might not have the MO or Loot executables set to run as Admin.
