bm2x Posted June 14, 2018 Posted June 14, 2018 Can't run all my MODs at the same time (NMM runs 1/2 no issues, ignores the rest, MO runs half and spawns a text wall of errors letting me know it is ignoring the rest) and after having my PC (laptop) cleaned and debugged (it needed neither) and a computer nerd (higher degree than myself) friend check everything is A-OK, I'm really really REALLY stumped. SO, much like how when you can't finish a quest because you killed so-and-so and they're required for the quest, I'm going to delete my MODs and start over from go. I figure uninstalling them will remove them from my system and let me decide which I really want and which I just threw in because I was frustrated. If anyone else has done this or something similar (stopped playing, new computer, whatever) how have your results been? Good? Bad? Ugly? Also, on a related but totally different topic, is CBBE a stand alone program that allows you to edit models used by Skyrim or does it add an interface at the character creation screen or something?
Grey Cloud Posted June 14, 2018 Posted June 14, 2018 Before you do anything drastic why don't you put up your mod list so peeps can give their opinions/suggestions? CBBE is a body shape basically. Stunned that you have modded Skyrim and don't know that. I walked away from my computer last autumn. Uninstalled my games and deleted the mods etc. Came back to it xmas/New Year and ugraded the machine a bit and re-installed Skyrim, gradually cobbled together a mod list something like I had previously. Truth be told I'm pretty bored with Skyrim and would much rather find some books worth reading.
Guest Posted June 14, 2018 Posted June 14, 2018 Put here out load order (mod list) or nobody can really give you help.

Martin), Neuromancer (William Gibson), Flatland (Edwin Abbott), La Coscienza di Zeno (Italo Svevo) In case you like just fantasy and you didn't read Lord of the Rings, give it a shot. But it is not a easy book.
bm2x Posted June 15, 2018 Author Posted June 15, 2018 yikes! I didn't post my MODs -_- I feel like a dope. Here's everything I am still running

Netimmerse Override is included in RaceMenu. So it is not needed as a separate mod. Either you use XP32 or XP32 Extended (recommended). Both at the same time do not work.

I generally read ancient metaphysics - Tao, Vedanta, Greek, Buddhist etc. The problem with these sort of books is finding decent translations.
pebbles321 Posted June 16, 2018 Posted June 16, 2018 i would also suggest going back through your mod list and updating because you have quite a few out of date mods

loopie Posted June 16, 2018 Posted June 16, 2018 Mods have pre-requsites, versions and variances. You will most likely need to re-install whole game from the ground up. But before you do you really really need to read up on it. 1. make sure all your mods are for correct version of skyrim, do not mix them. 2. use only 1 mod manager or learn how to do it manually. some mods and/or their requisites are very difficult, sometimes impossible to install via mod managers. 3. make sure you have all pre-requsites. sometimes pre-requisites can conflict even if their mods do not. you need to check and read up on each one individually. 4. pick a single body type, then get all the textures exclusively for that particular bodytype. 5. match ALL your hair, eyes, outfits, clothes, armors, jewelry, etc. to the bodytype which you are using. any mix up here will cause problems. 6. learn how to use LOOT, its a great modding tool that will let you know if something needs to be cleaned, is missing requisites, etc. but it doesn't cover everything and occasionally makes mistakes. 7. clean your mods using TESVedit 8. learn install order. this is even more important then load order. you have to install your mods in a ceirtain order so you do not overwrite the wrong things. it is up to you to find out which ones you should start with 1st and go from there. 9. do not use mods which have duplicate functions or affect same thing. for example, do not use 2 skeleton mods, or 2 bodies, or 2 different sets of textures for the same body. these will automatically cause conflicts.
bm2x Posted June 17, 2018 Author Posted June 17, 2018 Okay, so I got rid of XP32 in favor of XP Extended, re-ran the install orders and I think I have things running pretty good at this point (ie: game is looking like it want it to look) My issue (all along it seems, and thank you Andy14 and loopie) was that I had overwritten a body mesh with 1 mod that I had wanted, but then inadvertently overwritten the same mesh with a different MOD that wasn't actually doing what it was supposed to do in the 1st place. I most like the NMM because MO has been giving me problems (which was why I switched) with not running MODs. Either any or picking and choosing (different results each time I ran the program) and I was spending more time being frustrated than playing. AND I have Skyrim (Vanilla, no DLC) and Skyrim SE (on sale for cheaper when I was going to purchase the DLCs) and the SexlabSE was for some reason associated with both my games by MO. Idfk. GOODNIGHT AUSTIN TEXAS, WHEREVER YOU ARE!!!
