Note: This is my first public release, so please let me know if I messed up somehow! And if you could take some nice screenshots (modest outfits and SFW please) so I can use them on my page, that would be great! I can't exactly do great ones with my potato. RIP. XD I'd gladly give you credit in the title! Thank you. (^_^)

 

~Description~
This mod overhauls vanilla NPCs (excluding children and beast race NPCs), both male and female. It's looks are inspired by the surreal anime style of games like Final Fantasy. I plan to overhaul all of them, except for non-unique/unnamed ones.
If you hate that stuff, please spare both of our time and run.
DLCs will be done as well.
Currently, 143 NPCs in total have been overhauled.
Also, this mod has been cleaned with Tes5edit! So you can rest assured that it's safe to add to your Skyrim! (^_^)

Q. Why are you doing this?
A. Because I can. :3 Also, there are barely any anime NPC overhauls that do male and elderly characters.
Q. That file size though. O.o
A. IKR? O.o Lots of textures in here. Might upload an 'optimized' textures version, but it runs fine on my potato.
Q. Does this mod have any requirements?
The mod itself (for the moment) doesn't, except for the Skyrim.esm and the Update.esm. All assets are included with permission from the authors, so there's no need for any other mods either! :3
Q. Is this compatible with other NPC overhauls?
A. Yes, as long as you either
a. Load both the files and plug-in of mod 1 after the other mod(s)
b. Delete the NPCs you don’t want from one of the mods by deleting the records for them in the plug-ins and their corresponding FaceTint and FaceGeom, found in meshes and textures\actors\character\facegendata.
Q. There is a neck seam/face doesn’t match the body!
A. Try changing the NPCs weight with the following instructions
1. Open the console with ~
2. Click on the NPC
3. setnpcweight (any number between 00 and 100) until it's fixed.
Q. Is this compatible with X skin texture/body replacer?
A. This mod doesn’t come with bodies or skin textures, so you can use whatever you want.
Q. Can you overhaul other mods, like 3DNPC?
A. I am actually working on that right now! (^_^)
Q. Why are your form IDs starting with SGM and why is your custom folder Sugoi People?
A. Ah... Eheh. That was what I originally going to call the mod, but was worried it sounded too weeb-ish? I was also going to go by the modder name Sugoirim, but... Eh. (^_^)'
Q. The face is black/brown!
A. This has something to do with not having enough VRAM/Skyrim using a lot of memory. Sometimes changing the affected NPC's weight to 00 and disabling and then enabling fixes it.
Q. The face is ugly!
A. Make sure my plug-in(s) and my mod is loaded (or installed) after other NPC overhauls if you prefer my aesthetic. If the problem persists, please tell me which NPC(s) are affected. There are a few NPCs I may redo.
Q. (Character name)'s teeth are clipping through his/her mouth! O.O
A. This is because of the way Skyrim's face animations work, sometimes distorting the face. This can also be because I didn't make the lips big enough. Right now, female facial animations and the Fair Skin teeth mesh are included to help with this, but if there are any NPCs that still have this issue, please comment the name(s).

~Compatibility~
AI Overhaul - Compatible, as long as you load my plugins after it.
Ethereal Elven Overhaul - As this mod is being made with ECE, most likely not compatible.
Immersive Citizens - Compatible with no issues.
Improvement Bannered Mare - Compatible with patch.
Improvement Inn Zwei - Compatible with patch.
Immersive College of Winterhold - Compatible, but please load my plugin after it due to face data. Without a patch, it could undo AI changes from the mod. I'll see if I can make a patch for it.
Opulent Mage - Compatible, but please load my plugin after it due to face data.
Unofficial Legendary Edition Patch - By default, my mod will probably undo all changes made by it. Compatible with patch.
Perkus Maximus - Compatible with a patch (only needed for the thief part as it affects Vex).
Any AI mods that don't directly affect individual NPCs (meaning there is no NPC section to the plugin) are compatible.
