Panty outline/nude discoloration?

Me taking another stab at mods again with more problems!

 

I feel like I've had this problem before, but I can't seem to remember what the issue was.

 

UUNP from Bodyslide, Leyenda's All-in-One with Fair Skin.  There are a lot of body skin options in Bodyslide but I always just take UUNP Special for the body, hands, and feet.

 

Seems to be some kind of weird panty distortion or something?  Character is not wearing clothes in the screenshot.  It doesn't occur on the boobs, either, so I'm pretty confused.

 

Sorry about the half-screenshot/21:9 aspect ratio and jaggedy textures.  I was having some CTD issues amongst other problems when I took it and it CTD'ed as I was taking the screenshot.  I managed to fix both of those problems with some googling.

 

Any ideas on the texture issue, though?

Maybe the textures you installed were supposed to have a tan line or had a mix up of never nude msn file wtih nude texture set. Could be the body mesh but this seems unlikely since the under wear normally have very different textures than the body tint.

Hey all, I wasn't able to really do much about this until now.

 

I'm still having the issue - and I don't really know what to make of it.

 

I went ahead and reinstalled my textures from the ground up and ended up with nothing really changing.

 

I'm using Fair Skin Complexion and the Leyenda's AIO for the meshes, which I've used forever and also know a ton of people use, too.

 

What's weird is that in all the effort, I noticed that the effect seems to linger a bit even while messing around in Bodyslide.

Does anyone know how to get the filepath for my bodyslide textures?  That may at least help me out to find out where the hell this texture is coming from.

 

Load Order is as follows in case anyone knows of something containing any weird pre-installed textures.  I haven't been able to find any, and override looks clean as well.

You might want to consider a custom race like Temptress or Lunari so that you can have separate body meshes and textures for your character.  There may be a Unique Character mod for Oldrim as well...not sure. Default location for textures is  "\textures\actors\character\female", meshes are in  "\meshes\actor\character\character assets" .  Something looks strange there with your left leg.  Since you are using a vanilla body mesh/tex location, have you noticed the same "weirdness" or other characters?

This is a simple shadow problem. Skyrim is too bad for draw shadows.

A lot of times you can have blocky shadows and not notice it until they are over you player.

Simply try tweak a bit the shadow parameter in the ini files.

I not recomend touch the ini files manually, some parameters are complex and others are critical for the game stability. I always use BethIni for tweak my ini files.

If the effect disappears with zomming in, then it's skin problem (bone weights).
This happens when vertices have bone weights of more than 4 bones.

Genio, if it was an ini file issue, wouldn't it only show up in-game and not in bodyslide?  Maybe I misunderstand how Bodyslide works?...

 

Andy - It's not just zooming in, sadly.  It appears to occur at all distances.

I'm not really sure what the deal is, but it looks like the problem is the Fair Skin Complexion options in the All-In-One.  I installed Leyenda Skin and once overridden with my regular install of Fair Skin all of the problems completely vanished.

The underwear shadow seems to appear when Bodyslide Studio files are installed but not the base Calientes Beautiful Bodies Edition files are installed. Had only fair skin complexion installed as skin texture with Body Slide Studio only but was cleared of the underwear shadow after installing the base CBBE files. Seems its best to let any skin texture mod overwrite the base CBBE texture files instead of using a secondary skin texture by itself.
