Crash on New Game

Hi, well anyway, I just started a new game on FONV and I can't even get past the loading screen. The intro plays, then the loading screen comes up and it immediately CTD.

Does loading a save work?

Could be a missing master, could be too many active plugins, could be plugin conflicts.

Uncheck a bunch of mods to see if it's the second. (You can permanently uncheck clothing mods esps that are already in the game via SCR.)

If that doesn't help, load up in FNVEdit & have a look at the error reports it shows you.

Sexout ESMs look to be in the correct order. Do you have NVSE installed? If so, which version. If you are running version v2 beta12, then you MUST install prideslayer's modified version (http://www.loverslab.com/showthread.php?tid=5965 labeled as b13). Overwrite the original NVSE files in the Fallout New Vegas folder with the files from the b13 download. The other option is to update to NVSE 3 beta2. Supposedly this contains pridelayer's modification but at this time prideslayer himself has not verified that here, although others appear to have tested it and it seems to work. Either method should work.

 

Also make sure you have both the Core and Data fomods from the SexoutNG main post (Data is a mediafire link at the top, Core is a normal attachment at the bottom of the OP).

 

Finally, verify you have the necessary prerequisites for all of your mods - a missing preq will cause this kind of crash.

 

There is always the possibility that you have reached your plug in limit. Numerically you should be fine (169 < 254 "max") but as many have found out, that is not the real rule. It has more to do with some kind of internal count, but no one has verified 100% what that is.

I'd go with just too many mods to start with, turn off a dozen or so and give it another go.

Otherwise I've had a similar situation and nothing but a complete reinstall from a backup fixed it, you have a backup copy of your NV&Data folder from last time it was working of course before you added new stuff?
