Hello, I am trying to install this mod. But for some reason this error appears.
How do I solve it?

i have the same issue, got all required mods installed and working great, game launches fine through steam and SKSE64, get this error with both Devious Devices and Deviously Cursed Loot

Danke für die Hilfestellung - ich bin an diesem Quest echt verzweifelt.

Die anderen Lösungstexte die ich bisher gefunden hatte waren für mich immer missverständlich.

Dieses quest ist echt heftig - selbst für jemanden der Bondage und Latex nicht nur im virtuellen mag ?

A bit of a feature requst: Is it possible to make all quest objectives have accurate descriptions on where they are like in the mod Even Better Quest Objectives https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/159?tab=files
The point of this is that I like to play with the vanilla map and compass completly disabled and using NavigateVRs physical map and compass to naviage. But that wont show me where the objective is.

unfortunately not, i've tried completely reinstalling vortex, SSE and redownloading DD and DCL, still get the same error, if i find a fix i'll let you know though

Good news!
I already managed to fix the error, to do it just downgrade vortex to the previous version. Then install all the 'device' mods and voila!

Yes, I'm already playing it... Now I'm trying to correct some details. Like for example not having underwear when you are 'naked' or see if I can translate the mod into Spanish.

How do I get my character out of those old granny underwear?

in welchem sich der Körper vom Spielcharakter befindet.

Ich habe das leider selbst nicht mehr komplett wie dieser Vorgang (der Export) im einzelnen aussieht - die Anleitung dazu ist in den vielen tausedn Seiten

dieses Forums "versteckt"

ich suche es derzeit selbst um einem meiner Char eine andere Succubus-Form zu geben

(meine verwendete Succubus-Rasse hat zwei Erscheinungsformen - die eine komplett menschlich ohne Flügel, Hörner und Succubus-Sklills - die andere

mit all dem - Form-Umwandlung funktioniert via "Kraft"

i decided to reinstall this mod in order to make the live another live start work it wasn't appearing for new character. now the mod wont install. it says prerequisites arn't met and skyrim.esm and update.esm are active. im on vortex have no idea what to do. i have the prerequisites i didn't chance anythign in my load order accept trying to reinstall cursed loot. 

 

i tryed to install it manually but vortex still wont recognize it....why wont it install???

 

so i tryed to reinstall regular devious devices thinking that might be the problem...but now that one is giving the exact same in stall error too. 

btw this is only happening with the devious devices and there prerequisites, not the other mods they reinstall just fine.

i originally uninstalled the mods with vortex and told it to delete archive so i could redownload it. ive done that before with no issues. 

i noticed something else. if i try to install cursed loot it gives the same .esm is active error for devious devices now cuz its not installed eather...so did vortex thing my skyrim.ems and update.esm are not active?

shoudl i jsut try updateing skyrim then see?

Latest Vortex 1.5.5 have bug with Fomod installer. Downgrade to Vortex 1.5.4 or modify xml files in mod.

As i understand you need uninstall it and install from github. Downgrade on newest version will be impossible. But you probably need made backup vortex config files from system folders not to lose all installed mods info. or hope that vortex after uninstall not delete those files. Risky. It can end reinstall all installed mods.
