What this mod does:

 

This mod is a continuation of DocToska's add-on mod for Dark World Reborn, DW:Toska,  that contained various events, including many carried over from the original Dark World mod. Unfortunately his mod hasn't been updated in some time, and is no longer functional with the current version of CK2 or Dark World Reborn. I posted a few fixed versions in the support thread, fixing issues as well as removing some of the content that had been re-added to the core DW:R mod. However, as that makes it rather hard for people to find the latest version and information on the mod, I'm going ahead and forking it here. 

 

This mod contains everything that was in the DWToska Remix that I posted in the DWToska support thread, as well as a few other events I wrote that were originally in Dark World:Beyond Heresy (my first mod). I felt they're more appropriate in a mod such as this, so I'm moving them over.

 

This comprises a number of events and decisions/actions. Note that some of these include topics such as rape and bestiality, although I've altered the latter to be avoidable via the Dark World Fantasy settings.

 

Note that as of version 0.8.1 this mod requires Dark World Fantasy rather than Dark World Reborn or Dark World Tweaks (DWF being the most updated version of the core DW mod).

 

 

 

Credit goes to DocToska for most of the original work on this - I'm just trying to continue on that (original mod here ).

 

Compatibility:

This should be compatible with most other Dark World mods, though I haven't tested it extensively.

 


What's New in Version 1.0.4

Released

-Added support for fantasy races when using Random World if culture names is set to "historical." This mod adds Elf and Orc as cultures, which will also receive their respective Dark World traits and portraits, as well as support for Drow from the House Irae mod. (These can also appear when using the Animal Kingdoms setting for Random World)

-Fixed a few localization errors.

0.3: Some bug fixes and optimization. Will only check for cultures/portraits/traits when using Random World so there's no slowdown for anyone on a regular campaign.

0.4:

-Overhauled several event chains including education ones to scale back giving out tons of beneficial traits automatically for little cost

-All rape and related decisions/events should now be able to be blocked via Game Rule on Non-Consensual content (set it to off and they shouldn't appear) for those that want to use the rest of the events without dealing with that

-Removed a few of the decisions that didn't make as much sense, may rework and add them back later

0.5:

-Overhauled more event chains, including:

-The event chain where a female ruler is ambushed by mercenaries while leading troops now allows you the option to fight back, and chooses a specific mercenary (or randomly generates a commander type character if none are available) as your assailant that you would fight. Depending on your combat rating, you can win or lose, as well as suffer results ranging from injury to death (as can your opponent).

-The event chain where a female ruler is ambushed while bathing now allows you to attempt to fight back/flee, although at risk of injury or death.

-The event chain where a female ruler has a tryst after sparring with a lieutenant now allows you to decline the tryst. Additionally, the event picks a specific commander of yours if available as your partner now.

-The event chain where a female ruler is raped in her bedchamber now has a follow-on chain that allows you to try to discover and hunt down the rapist, who is a specific member of your court, and exact revenge on them. If you fail to find them however, they are likely to try again.

-In all the above cases, it is still possible to follow the original event path, either by submitting/accepting the act, or by refusing to do anything about it - you just have additional choices now.

-The spell to cause someone to become sex-crazed is now gated behind the game rule on Non-Consensual content, as victims of that spell will attempt to rape others at random.

0.5.1:

-Bugfix for an event chain

0.5.2:

-More bugfixes (this is a critical hotfix, download either 0.5 or 0.5.1 and this and overwrite the file when prompted)

0.5.3:

-Thoroughly debugged the added chains, and tweaked a few things that were out of place.

-Added new images to better fit a few of the events.

-Made the bestiality events obey the Dark World Core rule on Bestiality (meaning they won't even show up at all if you have that disabled via rule)

0.6:

-Added in several bloodlines for historical/legendary/mythological heroes, and several high quality artifacts related to them. None of these will appear in the game yet, but can be accessed via console command.

-By request, readded the 'Procreo' decision to have a dog rape someone, albeit limited now to a prisoner. Requires several traits to use (as only really evil or insane sorts would do something like that).

-Altered the pregnancy checks for non-consensual events so that it ignores fertility modifiers based on choices, such as lustful, chaste, or celibate, and only accounts for inherent traits or conditions. This takes affect both for player as victim and player as violator.

-Fixed a few bugs including some broken event pictures, an error in the Alleyne fight event logic, and tinkered with a few others.

0.7:

-Added randomized images for post-siege events by @Codini from his Toska extension.

-Fixed several bugs with the post-siege events not firing. They should work normally for both male and futa characters now.

-Made revisions to ensure compatibility with DW Tweaks changes to game rules. Rape content will now be toggled via decision/event in DW Tweaks (default is on).

-Adjusted a few decision conditionals to move certain conditions from "potential" to "allow" so you'll have more information as to why you can't take that decision, rather than simply having it not appear.

-Made some additions to the non-consensual event pregnancy check to account for other things such as the sterility charm in House Irae.

-Various other minor bugfixes and tweaks, including some additional graphical image updates.

0.7.1:

-Various age checks should now look at practical age rather than current age, meaning that immortal characters will be treated as of the age they became immortal.

-Adjusted the court rape event so that your husband/lover/concubines won't be randomly selected as the rapist.

-Underage characters should no longer get swept up in or be targetable by various sexual events.

-Female rulers with certain traits and a pet hunting dog from the Way of Life event can now choose to engage in certain activities with their pet.

-Fixed a minor bug where the Holy Fury version of House Irae religions weren't being checked for.

0.8:

-Added a decision to research your family history, which starts an event chain that can lead to establishing a link to one of several legendary rulers or heroes from history, and even obtaining a high quality artifact related to that individual.

-Fixed a bug that may have caused courtly random events to not fire.

-Fixed a bug that was causing post-siege events not to fire even when there were valid targets.

0.8.1:

-Updated a few events and decisions to reflect changes in Dark World Fantasy's demon traits (such as alu-fiend and cambion)

-Made some adjustments so the AI won't just spam the sexcrazed spell on people

-Reduced the AI's willingness to use the tentacle beast summoning

-Adjusted the education of son/daughter events so that full demons have access to all the options regardless of other traits

0.8.1.1:

-Bug fixes for Post-Siege Events and the Sex-crazed spell.

0.8.1.2:

-Fixed issues with rape content controls being overridden due to duplicate events.

0.8.2:

-Added a set of decisions to allow female prisoners to offer sexual favors to their captor in exchange for release, courtesy @lockeslylcrit

-Corrected an image in the Bathing Ambush chain so you won't appear to be violated even if you successfully escape

-Added a sanity check in the Court events so you don't wind up being marked as your own rapist

-Added AI decision logic for dealing with prisoners, so the AI may choose to rape prisoners unless that content is off

-Added in Age based checks for rape related pregnancy chances to prevent too old characters from winding up pregnant

-Made a few other minor fixes to localisations and such.

0.8.3:

-Fixed an issue where a Holy Fury related check would cause a crash for those without that expansion.

-Corrected several localisation errors.

-Fixed a few bugs in several events and decisions.

-Tweaked a few of the Fated bloodlines to correct a few of them whose bonuses were off (Mordred's should provide more than 0.5% bonus morale damage now, for example)

-Corrected some of the education events to properly assign the chance of lustful traits to your child, not you.

-You should no longer be presented with a list of post-siege prisoners when liberating your own province, or that of your vassal or liege. (You can still do so if at war with them).

0.9:
-Massively overhauled how the Sexcrazed spell for demons works.
-Targets now have the opportunity to try and mitigate their raving lust.
-Those who fail to do so may randomly rape nearby courtiers, and if caught, face either punishment by their liege, or significant opinion penalties if independent
-Attempting to sate your lust elsewhere may have consequences as well, to yourself and others around you
-The Sexcraze curse wears off in roughly 5-10 years now.
-AI is now more likely to use this ability, although still more restricted in doing so than the player
-Made some bugfixes and localisation corrections on various events including the Bloodlines search

-New modifiers added, so may cause some minor savegame incompatibilities

0.9.1:

-Various bugfixes, including cleaning up of code in events that were not game breaking but causing unintended behavior

0.9.2:

-Tweaked the Rapist at Court event chain to no longer assign the trait immediately - instead the trait is only assigned on accusation.

-Modified the description for the Rapist trait to reflect that it means the character is publicly known as a Rapist.

-Made a number of minor bug fixes for things that didn't seem to cause issues, but might have, like event type mismatches

-Several minor bugfixes, nothing critical, just ones that I had pending that I wanted to go ahead and post

-Compatibility fixes to adjust for the changed vampire trait tag from DWF.

-Added a check to prevent certain of the bedroom rape scenarios if you're married (and thus would logically have someone else in the bedchamber with you, nevermind that one of the scenarios kept sometimes picking your spouse even though it was supposedly blocked)

-Added fixes to update the mod to full compatibility with DWF 2.0

-Disabled the Castle Rape/Investigation event chains for now due to issues with the event not working as intended
