So I wanted to make a new character in her likeness (in face only) so i began working on it but failed miserably but i am happy with the results of how the character turned out. I am gonna give her the same name and gonna post her renders here.

The chin is different - yours has that typical manga angle (chin and lower jaw), hers is flat at the lower tip. You can see it very well on that main picture... what do you call that in the middle, a dimple? Her nose is irregular, too. Those imperfections make her look like a human being. Your work is not imperfect, therefore a "miserable fail", as you called it.

 

But the chin is the first thing I noticed... upper part of the face is good.. but the screens are not as high-res, so I might be wrong.

I know about the chin and its the first thing i knew from the beginning but i had no option to widen the chin in daz. I tried to make the chin as wide as i could with the options i had. Also her chin is pointy from the side, not flat so i could'nt do both so i made the chin bit pointy from the side angle which made her chin less wide. There was no option to move the lips up and down as you can se her's a bit close to nose but mine isnt. 

Also there were few things i dont like about the original face or in a female face. A wider chin, and much bigger eyes compared to the whole face. So i knew i am gonna fail so i made her eyes less bigger(orihinally i made big eyes same size as the original). 

Then i changed the nostrils a bit as well and yes i know about the line in the middle area, i also have very limited options when it comes to nose but i will look into it. I will also try changing the chin as well, may be shortening the jaw length would help the chin. 

Thanks for the input, and i was well aware of all the things you noticed but i liked the result. But as i said i will go another round with it and see what happens.

So i found what slider i was missing in daz and just bought them.
