It's a shame you can't move to the US. There is always a high demand for IT here

The worse about that is that it sound like some horror story... but sometimes, reality surpasses fiction. Your CEO is probably one of those who thinks that people are a variable to be adjustet for profitability. I don't have words to say how I despise that kind of management.
