Shea's Story-Act 2- Chapter 9-Justice.
In Mortum Castle...
Solomia: You wanted to see me sis.
Solomia: Is that a raven scroll?
Shea: Yeah.
Solomia: So what does it say?
Shea: "Dear the Lannisdayne twins, I have been given free reign to challenge you, by Queen Orianna the True Raven. So I request you come to the castle of Draconham to duel me, Lord Destro of the afore mentioned steadfast. If you don't arrive, we will march on Mortum Castle."
Shea: "If you choose to decline, you will watch as we flay Sofia and Gabriel alive, you will watch as our soldiers take turns-" It's just more of the same.
Solomia: "You will watch as our soldiers take turns raping your sister, I hope you choose to accept as I long to see you again Shea. Your sincerely-Lord Destro."
Shea: What am I supposed to do? I couldn't beat him before, and I don't think I can this time either. Not after everything he put me through.
Solomia: Don't sell yourself short, you're a good fighter, I think you could beat him.
Solomia: You're still one of the best fighters I know, and I've travelled halfway across the world.
Shea: I wish I had your confidence, but it isn't that easy.
Solomia: Of course it is, but if you're that worried that your technique is bad, learn some magic to help if needs be.
Solomia: I mean there has to be something in this library, right?
Shea: Maybe, but it has been years since I last used magic.
Solomia: Then re-learn, it's far from impossible to.
Solomia: You're acting as if it's completely impossible!
Shea: Do you even think I want to go back there, the place I was raped, abused and tortured?
Solomia: So you aren't even willing to get justice for yourself?
Shea: And what happens when he wins, he'll take you and do what he said he would anyway!
Shea: But I guess you didn't think about that, did you?!
Shea: Look, I know it's not your fault, but I really don't want to go back there.
Solomia: Thanks, but arguing about this isn't going to help us.
Shea: Fine I suppose I can try something.
Shea: But I'm not guaranteeing that I'll do anything well.
Shea: But lets try it.
Solomia: See? That's the spirit.
Solomia: Now come on lets find something here.
Shea: Oh anything good won't be in the main section, it'll be in here.
Shea: Welcome.
Solomia: Hell, how do you know about these things?
Solomia: Actually I don't need to know.
A few hours later...
Shea: So this is what we could dig up? Not much really.
Shea: But I suppose something is better than nothing.
Solomia: We looked for hours, I'm sure that's all we'll find.
Shea: So, that's what it is.
Solomia: It's not much, but it could come in handy I think.
Shea: Well if you think so.
Solomia: Well there's only one way to find out.
Shea: Yeah, lets go to Draconham then. Lets dispatch our...justice.
Many days of travelling later...
Shea: An unguarded gate? Quite surprising really.
Solomia: Well he did invite us here.
Guard: Who goes there?!
Shea: Shea and Solomia Lannisdayne, we were invited here.
Guard: Of course, the Lord Destro awaits you.
Shea: Gods, last time I was here, I...well I'm sure you know the story.
Shea: C'mon you can do this.
Solomia: That's the spirit, and besides you can't lose.
Destro: Well, I must admit, I'm surprised you accepted the offer.
Shea: Well you didn't exactly give me a choice.
Shea: So, can we cut the shit and get on with this?
Destro: Not at all, foreplay is extremely important.
Destro: You should know that after what I did to you.
Solomia: Okay, there's no need to be a cunt about this.
Solomia: You don't think you've done enough!
Shea: Solomia, that's enough.
Shea: But she does have a point Destro, can we just get on with this?
Destro: Fine.
Destro: But let's not make a mess in front of the lady.
Shea: I think we should let her decide for herself.
Solomia: I'm going, I can't stand you Destro, and I might be a distraction.
Destro: Good choice. I think seeing your sister killed would be rather...traumatic.
Shea: Oh you wish.
Destro: Don't you remember, that confidence lost you the duel, the first time.
Shea: Yeah it was, but I've...altered it. But lets not worry about that, I think it's time we stop taunting each other and get on with this.
Destro: Yes, I'm going to have to agree with you for once, but don't worry, you'll be obeying me soon, again.
Shea: Lets go.
Destro: C'mon, show me your spins and pirouettes. I wish to watch.
Destro: Yaargghh!
Shea: You think I'm going to fall for that again?
Destro: Your technique it's clunky and clumsy and unfortunately too practical.
Shea: Well, since you're such a 'master swordsman' maybe you should be able to deal with it.
Destro: Fine, as you please.
Destro: So, you've improved a little, less spins and overarching strikes.
Shea: Well I've trained to fight you, what did you expect?
Destro: Damn, that parry is tight, almost like you if I remember right.
Shea: Oh you're not psyching me out of this one.
Destro: Are you sure, you're looking a little shaken?
Shea: Completely sure.
Shea: Haha, I learnt my lesson last time.
Shea: Aim for a place with minimal armour, like the side of the neck, or between the shoulder plates.
Destro: Fine! Want to play like that, we can play like that.
Shea: Show me then, show me how you want to 'play.'
Destro: Argh!
Shea: (Oh shit!)
Shea: Ahhh!
Shea: Really, you had to do that didn't you! Well come on then, show me a fight!
Destro: Fine! Yargghh!
Destro: A measly parry, is that all?
Shea: Far more really.
Destro: Far more?! You think you have a chance don't you?
Shea: I know I do, weren't you ever told never to underestimate anyone?
Shea: But here you are, me on the defensive and you aren't doing anything.
Shea: (Running outside)
Destro: Cowardice, really?
Destro: The gates are locked you know, you're going to have to face me at some point.
Shea: No, I just like a more open environment.
Destro: You'll regret that!
Destro: Rarrghhh!
Shea: Really? Rather obvi-
Shea: Dammit!
Shea: Aaa, fuck.
Shea: Ahhh!
Destro: You never learn, but you won't be able to learn from this, ever.
Shea: Yarrghh!
Destro: No! Wha...
Destro: I...you are nothing.
Shea: How...am I...going to deal with...this?
Destro: You don't...you won't...you are nothing...you aren't worth the time to...save
Destro: Uhh...
Shea: I don't feel too good...Ahh!
Shea: Huh, is that...a...light?
"And who are you?
The proud lord said,
that I must bow so low"
"Only a cat
of a different coat
that's all the truth I know"
"And so we spoke,
and so we spoke,
that lord of Castamere."
"But now the rains
weep o'er his halls
with not a soul to hear."
"Yes now their rains
weep o'er his halls."
"With not, a soul to hear."
