She's alive!! SHE'S ALIIIII-*Ahem*, forget I said that.

So after a bit of hesitation, I decided to try out making my girl Luna into a follower in my game for screenarchery purposes.
For those of you who don't know who Luna is, this is my Luna:

Bit of her backstory too:
Her full name is Lunamaria Castelle, daughter of a noble Breton household, sent to the College of Winterhold to learn and master the art of magic.
Proficient in the school of Conjuration, she is a formidable summoner, capable of summoning various atronochs to aid her in combat.
She's also a very competent archer, so while her atronochs take on enemies up front, she'll be taking shots at them from behind.

In the College, she met our lovable ditz Tammie, who was also a student of the College, until Tammie's eventually departure, leaving Luna behind at school while she goes off to adventure with her unarmed talking fungi friend, Mico.

During their time in the college though, Luna and Tammie were good friends. Tammie, unsurprisingly, was the mischievous one, causing trouble and making fun, while Luna was studious and focused in her training as a conjurer.

Now if you actually read through all that, thank you! So here is the main reason for the blog post: I've actually managed to get a working Luna follower made in my game!
Luna's a small girl, so Luna's ECE preset actually has her scaled down quite a bit and her head scaled up a little to look more like a teen. Her height model would roughly be a head shorter than that of an NPC Nord, roughly.
The head size was my main problem, as the height scaling was no problem in the CK. Thankfully after some careful reading I found out ECE actually has a function to save head size and neck height! That was a real life-saver! The dream was alive!
After messing around in the CK abit, taadaa!

Not half bad, right? She's not a perfect 1:1 copy though, as my ECE preset had some other fine tuned details like shoulder scale and body:leg proportion tweaks (which I don't think I can easily translate to an NPC body).
This was as best as my lazy and inexperienced ass could do, so I'm pretty proud.
There are some quirks to her though.
For one, she can't wear the glasses I have on player Luna because they clip too deep into her face for some reason.
And number two, there's that tiiiiny spot in her hair(around the bangs) where the texture looks a bit wrong, I don't get what's up with that..

As for whether or not I plan on releasing her as a mod...I don't know. I don't know the first thing about releasing a mod to the public. Since I basically copied all the assets needed to make Luna from the relevant mods used, I assume permissions are a very important thing to have if I want to let her out into the wild. Some of her assets used come from a hair mod that has since...not been publicly available, however, so I want to respect the wishes of those authors.

So in conclusion, as I've said above, follower Luna was made to assist me for future screenarchery endeavours. And now that she's a reality, the potential for more of Tammie's adventures has been greatly increased! Like...

Thanks for the read, if you've actually read the entire thing and may the Nines smile upon you. :)
