Part 1.5 - The path of the warrior: Different worlds, same old Ego

While I am working (well, sort of) on my Skyrim character I wanted to show you all the counterparts of Ego, or at least the screenshots I managed to save. I also decided to update this blog weekly

This is Ego in Black Desert Online: (I remember it took me one week to get the perfect face, that character creator is a godsend for people like me)

Ego in Mass Effect 2: (The lack of a serious short haircut really crippled me but I managed to get close to what I was trying to make)

If you are wondering what's written it says: "YOU ARE DEAD."

Ego in Dragon Age Inquisition: (This was the beginning of the game so before changing her in the mirror, I didn't change much but she looked definitely better after that)

Ego in Revelation Online: (This game lasted like... 5 minutes? It wins as the game that bored me from the very beginning. I liked the stylized look of my character though)

Ego in Soul Calibur 3: (Well, you can't really do much with the face because they are all premade but the combination of character creation and armor customization made this noteworthy)

Ego as depicted in my Dungeon & Dragon games: (I didn't really have the chance to play this character seriously, you know how D&D works... when you know the wrong people it becomes pretty unrelatable. Also I'd like to thank the artist who made this for me, even if she/he is an anonymous from some part of the web)

Talking about character fidelity ! GG !

It's hard to get to recreate a character's face through different games, is'nt it ? It's always nice to see the evolution afterwards though. :)

Well, as you can clearly see every game has it's own artistic style and customization choices, different body and face proportions and hairstyles. It is impossible to create the same face every time. It's about the feel, the very soul of the character, when you know that it is a matter of feeling (and knowledge of the character creator tool)

I even have an old drawing I made when I was younger that I follow as a guideline for her face but it is a matter of sketching, really. I'm going to post that if I manage to find it

Ego in Black desert game is my favorite. She is extraordinary beautiful.

That's because BDO is a great game and I spent more than one day creating her, it's about love.

I think people misunderstood that game and got hyped for something that never existed, as an artist I played it under a different light and it quickly became one of my favourite games. I mean... I use the game's osts to fall asleep at night

How can people listen to this and say this is not a masterpiece? More than half of BDO osts are everything what a masterpiece should be, simplicity used to create something spiritual.

Let's not that talk about the game style, the mood of its world, the animations, the freedomness of the battle, the... urgh, I just love it.

Woow, creating a character the whole day?! No wonder why she looks so perfect. I admire you.

Before I started to work on high position in the Hotel, I was also in the games, but mostly Sims 3. ME and similar. I never spent more then hour or two on creating character. Therefore I have nothing to show to the public, but you certainly do. Please, don't stop posting your wonderful creations.
