Bad Ends - The Abandoned Shack

We join Erika in Kynesgrove, having taken a job from the innkeeper to remove a local troll that has been causing issues with travellers passing through the village.
The innkeep informs her that the troll is kept up inside a nearby abandoned shack at the side of Darkwater river.
Shortly after leaving Kynesgrove, she finds the dilapidated shack in question, only to find the remains of a recent inhabitant who clearly was unaware or careless to the fact that the shack is a troll den. With the fire still burning from the previous occupant... it can't have been too long since the troll left
Foolishly however, believing the troll not to be nearby, she takes a moment to try and dry off next to the fire the last inhabitant lit before deciding on an ambush spot to take on the troll, knowing she can't win a one on one fight with it.
Only to hear heavy footsteps approaching behind her... blocking the exit
