Good chapter.  It's always sad to see Kitten sad breaks my heart.  But good to see her cheer up. It's a nice balance.

Concerning the main team ... well ... ok so you cut the scene and all that, fine. Also, I admit it might be kinda traumatic for Maari, but otherwise I don't see why the Hag made it appear that much of a deal. To quote several followers in Skyrim: "I've to admit, I'm disappointed." 😛 I expected something much scarier, much more traumatic on a general level, not just for Maari ... basically me as a kid in the ghost train. 😓
But hey, nice storytelling and progress, so that offsets it.

As far as the B-Team goes ... ah well, yeah, the usual stuff, girls getting fucked brain dead, mercs getting additional joint to their limbs. Torygg still being a dolt ... why did you allow him to live again? Doesn't look like you are fond of him. Also, did her eyesight indeed worsen? If yes, that might still be a pretty lenient punishment the four of them got ... the mercs might have been adequately dealt with. I doubt that can be full fixed again.

it's supposed to be all about Kitten 🤔 But yeah like I said it was supposed to be a bit more and differently, but apart from recreating things, there is a personal reason I couldn't do a lot in there with that theme, a reason I didn't had last year ^^ It gotten a bit harder wirting about this in more depth now. 

But let this get to your mind a bit since it's mentioned and hinted opon. A 4 year old Maari witnessed the birth of Harry and the death of her Mom. All alone while a vampire could return any moment for a kitten snack 🤔

Well it's still skyrim and the thing is, she actually has a status bonbon. Problematic in another way of course but also kinda realistic. At least she's off the table for a while and if she ever returns.. I don't think she can ever walk around the capital without being noticed as the DockSlut xD so life ruined punishement served I would say.

And yeah the Mercs will probably never hold a weapon again >_>

At the very least, that 'poor' guy could get a second seat, so his oh so beloved wife doesn't have to stand* beside him. Even the temple has two seats reserved for them (not that I think those seats got much use).

Hmm, all regular player homes are way too small for his ... erh ... following. Luxury Suite has enough beds I suppose (and the cover of being a Spa ... or could be made into something else where people would expect lots of hot girls to live ^^), raises the question of how he gets it. Sea Dragon is a bit smaller, but can relocate, always a boon for someone like Arlan, I guess, and can perhaps easier explained, like "some pirates later Arlan suddenly finds himself in possession of a ship"). The Scarlett can serve a similar purpose, but it's much more ship and a bit less player home, also I find it too big (ok it shares that trait with the Luxury Suite, which I already recommended, so ...). Most other multi bedroom player homes tend to be to castle like, though there are exceptions. Weren't you house hunting before already, I remember all kinds of suggestions being made.

Yes I was. The thing is, all the player homes you can find are way too much 🤔 A fuckton of displays and mannequins, the, like you mentioned, inapropriate overall size that is way too much for Arlan to have. There is also the problem with the lux patch or the lack of that. I got exactly two player homes installed that are not that bad, one of them is Selene's place and the other one is too clunky and doesn't have a propper bedroom. I ended up taking over Victoria Viccie's place like I did for zuri back in the OG days, but not as his propperty more like a house Elisif gave him to live while he is working for them (Someday said emperors cousin will move in there off screen when it's no longer needed, Don't worry she's alive and well xD Won't write myself out of optional side quests. Like team Kitten rescuing the emperors cousin or something. )

Pretty new, didn't install it yet (will give it a go soon though), from the description might work for you, once you relocated the current occupants (not that some of them aren't down my alley ^^). In the middle of nowhere, so the occupants better being able to deal with the occasional unfriendly visitor, should make it kinda affordable.^^
Should be worth a look, after all it comes with a Lux patch.

((sorry for the late reply. x,x I almost forgot) I still fear it's too big. But I just scouted a few npc home's from the docks and in the city. I'll just take over one of those for now and skip all the mannequin and display bullshit that way 🤔 There is no real need for a lot of space or beds either. Still.. The ship and suit are not uninteressting for storytelling I'll have them boomkared for now ^^
