Forced hiatus

Hello, the two people who still read my stories! You probably noticed there wasn’t one last week. That, alas, is going to be the case for a little while. I have a year-end deadline that is not going well and that will require all my writing time. If i get a breakthrough, i can start this up again early. Fingers crossed!

No problem Jfraser. IRL should go first. Plus it's not like you had no intention to resume your ongoing stories. And we have several blogs materials to read if the wait was to extend itself. Thanks for sharing those anyway, and see you in the comments/main forum sections of LL then. :classic_wink:

If I recall right it's the contrary, as a "librarian" here I progressively took a place in a story-telling community, supporting other authors by giving them some criticism and appraisal. Yet, your blog isn't supposed to deal about stories, but to be a diary. Hence part of why I realized they weren't my domain.

yet I know you're teasing me Eva, as usual. Plus even if you're not a storyteller, you're still a welcome member of the audience around the blogs section. :classic_wink:

ldyMRSUy_o.png « That's right.

He got very suspicious 'cause you were with people who said they didn't like redheads, even if they were very pretty, strong and intelligent, you see ?

Even if they were godesses, or elected student of the year.

So that was very suspicious of them having luckasto issues, yes. :classic_sleepy: »

Speaking of, I’m not sure you saw the latest installment(s). ;)

I am just glad to hear you are OK.

I was afraid only something truly terrible would stop you from posting - and we here in internet land would never know.

Get back to us when you can - and know we won't forget.

Ahem. Two-point-five people, thank you very much. I've put on some weight recently.

As it happens, I had strep throat last week which is why there was no labyrinthian episode. Top three worst times of my life, right up there with the time I had a sunburn so bad that scratching the omnipresent itch only caused fiery pain without relieving the itch and my entire first marriage

The good news is that the deadline is for my book which needs to be done by the end of the year. So I’ll have a book for all 2.5 of you to read by then. ;)

If I understood well, we don't know when they'll resume, so I won't rush reading them. :coffee:

I just hope they don't conclude on a major cliffhanger should the wait extend itself. ^^

My associate whispers me that scratching it is no way to relieve marriage. She suggest financial arrangements instead. :D

As for your streptococcus' angina, hopefully you could get antibiotics. The pain could last quite long otherwise. :classic_angel:

Even with the abx, i was unable to eat for five straight days. Lost 15 to 20 pounds, though!

There may have been some resistance going on here, because I don't think it takes that long usually. Regardless, glad to know you healed after all. Smiley_jap_HFR.gif

this is 100% accurate - i waited one day too long to get on the abx and let the strep get to its worse stage. so it took longer to clear it up. if i had gone to urgent care when it became clear it wasn't just from, like, all the dry air or something, it would have lasted much less.
