Cleaning Up

Hello, everyone. Thank you for taking an interest in my writing.

This blog has become rather convoluted. I had not planned on having three different stories all at the same time (plus the modding background, just for fun), so I went into this entirely unplanned. So much is probably obvious.

Therefore I'm going to do a little housekeeping. By which I mean, I'm going to create separate blogs for each of these stories and repost them. This will give me a chance to put things in order instead of having to muck about with links at the bottom of the pages, clean up some of the writing, especially the short-shrifted first few chapters of Sian's story, and, perhaps, gather a few new readers who might be intimidated by a title that says "Part 34" but would be willing to jump into the stories at the ground floor.

So, please accept my apologies for the upcoming series of posts which will be repeats of previous chapters (although updated, so they might be worth reading again. ;) ). I will get back to Aithne's story very soon. The next chapter is being difficult but it is nearly done. I will also continue Sian and Sloan's stories, when the time is right. And I'll finish the story of Simple Slavery to boot.

I appreciate every one of you. :)

Hey Jfraser,

Why not go for a cleansing indeed ? I had noticed that you made place holders that you could get rid of in the doing btw.

Regarding your repost however, you might be interested in learning that you can repost something without having it necessarily displayed as a recent entry in the main page. And that, just by setting a publication date sometime in the past ; this way you can control the sorting even retroactively, and choose what you cant to take the spotlight (in the main page) and what you don't. It'll also help in avoiding to bloat the main page with 30 entries,  despite allowing you to effectively post the 30 of them in your blog.

Anyway, awaiting to see your new works once the sorting is in place ! :D

If you move "Making of a Mod: Simple Slavery part 1", please let me know and I'll update the link to it on SS++.

A good idea but I actually want them to post to the main page to pick up those possible new readers. :)

Hi Jfraser,

I consider your stories a bit of a guilty pleasure of mine.  They are expertly written and it is obvious you have put a lot of thought and passion into creating them.

Making separate blogs for your works will definitely make things easier to read and will allow you to keep better track of them.  As long as you post just one entry per blog on the main page (and not 90+ new entries, seeing as you have a lot of chapters) I don't think anyone will mind.  You've been on this site for a long time and you yourself know how we periodically get authors (usually new ones) who get a bit over-enthusiastic with posting and take up the whole of main page much to the frustration of all the other creators who have spent weeks and months making their own content only to see it being pushed down to 2nd/3d page in a matter of minutes.

With that being said, best of luck to you and looking forward to seeing your stories in the new blogs! ☺️

Thank you for the kind words, although hopefully my stories aren't a true source of feeling guilty. ;)

I agree, and that is my plan - one post a day (or so). Until I've caught up to current, at which point it will drop back to once every three months (or so). XD
