Armor Conversion Trick: Bodyslide + CITRUS

But not quite the way you might expect. Theoretically using CITRUS or a similar body type with a wide variety of sliders, you can use it as an aid to convert any body type to any other body type...   Theoretically.   The CBBE Advanced slider set can work or be helpful as well, but CITRUS currently has a pretty good selection to choose from, some of them very useful for trying to match particular body quirks, so hey, may as well take advantage of it.   The trick I decided to try was to use

Omniblade Daggers: WIP

Not ready for release obviously but I thought I'd throw a few pics up in case anyone was interested.         After all, that armor is just begging for a decent omniblade, right? It's not just me? I hope it's not just me.   Managed this effect by editing vanilla resources - few tweaks to the nif, simple edits to the texture (alpha channel + recolor, basically, like, super simple). I'm gonna keep working on it for a bit but... I like where this is going. Maybe see what I can achieve w

Surprisingly it didn't work

but I found something else that seems to have, so I guess it paid off in the end.   Yay for the triumph of persistence over laziness.

You run into the weirdest problems trying to grant requests...

Yet here I am, trying to convert some CBBE/Bodyslide armor from a japanese blog somewhere to the 7BO body and having the damndest time getting the weights to behave. Of all the things, the SLEEVE is giving me hell.   So here I am, wrestling with flared sleeves, like I'm in some kind of fashion class.   Maker take me...   But hey, once I start a course, I'm nothing if not dedicated. At least until I exhaust every idea I can come up with in short order and learn everything I can learn from t

Devious Death Hound Collars

Credit for the original mod (as far as I know) goes to Vioxsis   The idea of wearable death hound collars was too good to pass up, so I took it and modified it in the following ways:   1. Devious Devices Integration support - unarmored variants with appropriate keywords. Locking and all. Wear with care. 2. Unlocked "armored" collars based on those originally included in Vioxsis' mod. Light and heavy versions, temperable, can be enchanted (in theory - I haven't tested it yet). They DO howeve

The Hairstyler - Compatibility Fix

First of all download the original mod - here: --> http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/48470/?   That offers an interface for... well, they're wigs, technically. But it's almost as good as being able to change NPC hairstyles at a whim.   Now download the fixed ESP --> LycHairstyler.esp   in which I basically just ran through every single wig in the creation kit and added the SexLabNoStrip keyword to all of them.   Have fun.

Experimenting with Devious Devices

So by chance, I stumbled on this after an incident with Lydia and a death hound got me thinking, and started toying with changing the included collars to work with Devious Devices - Integration. Equip slots, keywords, scriptinstances...   Had a real crash course in how the whole system functions. I forget sometimes how important it is to get under the hood once in awhile, as it were.   Took me a few tries, but managed it in the end. So far, at least, it's working. Probably going to edit a f
