  1. Hello, So, I've a ctd problem that I saw mentioned here back on page 3, but no real answer came as to what to do. Here's the situation... Using Drain Life occasionally causes the game to CTD. I ran around testing it to see the why behind it. Everytime I tried to drain a dremora of some kind, I got CTD Everytime I've tried to drain a human bandit, it's worked. When I tried to drain Khajiit bandit I've gotten mixed results. When I drained him off in the grass, I CTD. When I drained him on the road, it worked. I tried draining a Spriggan and also CTD. I've drained animals with varying levels of success and CTD. I tried draining in differnt terrain, slooping hill sides vs roads, not very repeatable in CTD. I haven't tried vampires yet. I'm using lover's pk extender, so the messages I see are 'how many SP I earned' followed by 'opponet has died due to draining ---' and then it crashes. I have not run into this problem with drain Magic or drain Essance. Someone back on page 3 mentioned it might be a load order thing, so that's included below. And, of coures, I realize that Slammer is a wonderful translator but not the builder so I'm not expecting answers from the mod builder But, in general, if anyone's run into this and has a solution or what have you, I'd appreciate any feed back. Thanks
  2. So, an update on my raising dead Quest NPCs and enslaving them. After I raised Kurdan gro-Dragol and slapped the Enslavement spell on him, I took him back to the Underground and had him wait in the Shack as I wasn't in the mood to start training him yet. I stripped him of everything except his slave irons. I returned some time later to drop off another raised NPC and he was still there but he had regained his equipment, maybe have leveled up as I had gone through a level or two after I dropped him there. Otherwise, he was still my property, just now fully equiped. Which, of coures, I stripped him of.
  3. I was actually surprised to find him still there. He's there and so's the poor old sod you go to rescue. It'd been a bit of time, several game days at least and probably at least 1 level up. So, I raised him and stunned him and then enslaved him. That all went well. I ordered him to follow me but he wouldn't move from the spot I killed and raised him at. He did 'travel' with me, though, into the fort and then later on when I fast traveled. Once I fast traveled, then he was able to move normally. So, now all I have to do is break and train him, and I don't see any difficulty with that. I wonder if the breeding ogre is free.. ============ OH, I do have an observation to make on enslaving named, persistant NPCs. If you choose to do it while they are alseep, then when ever they participate in sex acts, they always produce the dialog from the sleeper-sex.
  4. I have a new question. Does anyone know if there will be a problem or create any kind of conflict doing the following: Simple: Raising a quest-related named-npc and then turning him/her into a slave? Details: As an example, in the Quest "Caught in the Hunt" you encounter and kill Kurdan gro-Dargol at Fort Grief. After killing him, you return to Bravil and wrap up the last bits of the quest, so that it moves to the completed catagory. After the quest is marked completed, return to Fort Grief and use the consol to resurrect Kurdan gro-Dargol and then enslave him. After enslaving him, treat him as he so richly deserves.
  5. I remember reading your experience with that a couple of pages back. To my knowledge, none of my mods adds hostiles. Most of the mods I've installed are clothing, weapons, textures (MPB...), and lover's lab. I'm leaning even more so towards the 'fall though' as I've seen regular Oblivion NPCs having difficulty climbing steps, dropping halfway in, staggering, then blipping into place (guards so far). Besides that one time, so far, I've not experienced any more slave deaths. Now, I did leave some out and about in Chorrol and Bravil for several game-days and I'm planning on making a circut to check on their stability in the next couple of play sessions. But, just for the off chance:
  6. Hi, Thanks for the feedback. As it's not happened again, I'm probably going to lean towards the 'fall through' possibility. My reasoning is that I haven't started the MQ yet so, unless it's another glitch, Ulen shouldn't be on the war path. Also, there were plenty of guards around that I figure some kind of assault would've drawn their attention. I could be wrong on that. The steeling food part, I'm not sure off where to check the stats on for the NPC to judge that raiting. So that may be a possibility, but it didn't repeat itself when I followed her around the entier night. But, if it happens again, I'll try and collect more conditions and see if I can narrow it again. Thanks, again
  7. So... um... one of my slaves died. Unexpectedly. I had enslaved Justia Sintav from the Imperial city. I broke her myself and got her up to level 0. After that, I took her to Talos plaza and dressed her in some expensive undies and set her out to sell her flowers there. Things were going good for the day. I kept track of her by watching for the notices of her selling her flowers and the text dialog. Then, around 10pm I went looking for her and found her laying dead near the central plaza roundabout. So, I reloaded an earlier save and followed her till about 3am of the same day and she didn't die at all. Which is good, but it makes me wonder why. Any one got a clue?
  8. Well, my response to the first comment is: Oh... I didn't realize that I gained Trainer level. I think I better go back and pay more attention to what it is I can do with this Mod For the second, I did notice that a couple of times while I was trying to train someone early on. That makes sense now. Most of my focus is on the stats for Lover's PK extender + the Prostitution mod. I guess I got caught up in the Complete the Quest cycle of doing things + working my skills for max stat increase at leveling, then got focused in on using the Quest subjects to make money during the quest. Rena's earned me around 16k in gold so far. The curent charcter concept is The Life and Times of the Adventuring Prostitute. But, yeah, going back to take a better look at what I'm doing and what I can do with BU seems like the thing to do. I'm planning on installing Crowning Isle (I think is the name) then, I'm sure, things'll get even more complex.
  9. Hi. Yes I have read your quest tips. They are a useful guide. Thank you for them. I did a lot of research over the weekend searching google and the forum probably for the specific of how many or what level does she need for the quest advance to trigger. As far as speaking with Onan, I learned about that during the first quest to figure things out. I may even have learned it from the quest tips. I found you can ask Onan all of the questions in one meeting IF your reputation with him is high enough. Mine is at 100. This is a Oblivion feature when dealing with quest topics, which is if your rep is high enough, the topic will stay golden with new/additional information. I think for this quest in particular, what confused me was a player-assumption that creature-lovers would not be needed as, in theory, we were weaning Rena away from animals. Onan, of course, said to use the Kenel to help break here but, beyond that, I was uncertain. So, I was working under a false premiss of what sort of training I needed to use on her. I figured I was going to get to put her in one of the kenels and train her that way. I did try another experiment, working with the Kenel Party Button in the Kennel. Sex with dogs in the Kenel does seem to add to the progress of her training. Using the 'training progress' command under 'orders...' shows an increase of 'Creatures'. When she hit 30 in 'Creatures', I got the quest update that I was looking for. I have found through the three quests so far, that having the trainee 'sell your flowers' also counts towards training. For the first I did most of the 'human' training as it was clear she needed 10, and then used the Ogre in the breeding guild for most of the creatures. When I moved on to the Wayward Daughter training, most of her human training came from selling herself to the NPCs. The only draw back to that was that, until she was broken, she'd file false charges with the guards against me. I'm not sure if that's a BU effect or an Immoral Guards effect. With Rogbut, she achieved her breaking while in sold-service. Rena also crossed over into being broken while selling herself on the streets of Chorrol. I think for the fourth quest, I'll try bringing a training creature with me, just to see how that works out. I have to say that I like that you can break them by pimping them out. It earns you more money and supplies - I'm running Immoral Sisters as well, so they 'tip' with food ingrediants and potions. Thank you, again, for all of your help and feedback. I'll keep it all in mind as I continue to build my mental library of working solutions for things. I hope my feedback and progress may be of some use, as well. Also, I should state that my assumption that the quest was broken was completey incorrect on my part. I'm going to need to study up on Oblivion quest structure more before I try and examine quests again for future guidance.
  10. Well, like all things new and sexual, I was experimenting. Seriously, when uncertain of what to do or which way to go, I try differnt approaches to achieve my needed end. I save first, of course. If something doesn't seem broken, but doesn't seem to have worked, I'll continue on. And if it seems to have gone bad, well, I relaod. Of coures, with the guards rushing into the shop, that was a sign of 'not the way to go'. Fortunately, they accept sex for payment. I have copied and pasted all the suggestions and courses of action to take and will try them later tonight when I can some more free time to play. Hopefully, I can get it to work easily. She's earned me a LOT of money. I can almost afford that house for sale. I think I'll start off with a trip to BU to fetch a trainer animal. I thik it's easier to travel with 1 npc than 3. Thanks again for all the feedback.
  11. Having Lover's Bitch installed as well, I did use my wolf on her once, but that was before she broke and the act was performed in the Kennel in her shop. I also got guards rushing in to arrest me for assault. Is there another way to get creatures to breed with her besides using the animal rape spell/command or taking her (and her two dogs) back to BU and the Breeding shop there? Currently she rates 161 humans and 1 creature. I'll pop back into the game and try some more things in the Kennel. Just for reference, the Kennel I refere to is the one where my 'owned' dogs reside. I assume that's the one to use and not hers down in the basement. Added: I just found the Kenel Party Button. That seems to add to her creatures sex act counts. I'll play with that for a bit and see if it'll trigger the quest update. Currently she's at 12. I'm guessing she'll need 20-30.
  12. I'm having trouble with the third training mission A Lonely Husband: Lord Rimalus wants me to turn his wife Rena into a Sex Slave... I've trained and trained her, broken her, and so far I've not recieved any further quest updating. I've got her trained up to level 6 currently and still nothing. I took a little look through the quest set up in the CS, but I'm new to Oblivion and very rusty on Morrowind, but it looks like there's no condtionals in the quest set up to transition to the next stage. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks. Here's the load order, just in case:
  13. Greetings. I finally got around to installing Oblivion. I really loved Morrowind, even before all of the cool and great mods I added to it. Yet, after trying Oblivion with no mods and a few mods, I find that my feelings for it are inversly proportional to my enjoyment of Morrowind. As such, I found the need to seek out many, many, many moods to make the game more dynamic and versitile. So far, I'm only a few steps into that endevor, but those steps have lead me here. Someday, I may buy Skyrim and, based on some opinions I've heard, may find myself returned to the same path that lead me here. But, only time, money, and more powerful computer system will tell. In the mean time, I shall ramp up Oblivion as best as I can. -SPK
