  1. I'm not sure what rules or enforcement you have heard about, but the most there is are standards, which are not strictly followed either. The biggest mistakes were the complexity of configuring animations early on, and is the lack of conventions for configuring animations. I have never aimed to enforced any specific way animations should be made, mostly focusing on providing more and improving what exists. These decisions, or lack of them, came with its benefits and the pointed out detriments. Privately, I always recommend to any modder to focus on presentation, that being naming and visuals. I've commissioned projects that improved naming, tagging, and roles of existing animations by hand, on top of very primitive automation solutions. And the project aiming to automatically fix mistakes and actually do it well has went through many iterations and still requires a lot of work, but it will likely just be another step towards improvement. It's difficult for me to see some of the issues getting better, unless they weren't issues from the beginning. If anyone from the community takes the initiative to improve names of animations, the override system in WW exists and comes with shareable files. I would be glad to include them by default in the mod.
  2. I certainly don't see the naming issue ever getting better, unless you have more players complaining about it to the animators. Same with misconfigured roles or lacking tags. From my perspective, I don't expect anything to actually improve, the creator has to care about the quality of packaging as much as the quality of product. What I am hoping to see is improvement through detection and automation, which is a massive and complicated project, but I do have some fun working on a solution that will automatically fix tagging and roles. This will not only help active creators, but ones that have retired too. Of course that won't fix names, but perhaps with detailed and correct configurations, names could be omitted or become less important.

  6. Hey! Since the rework of sex autonomy in WickedWhims v178, Sims don't consider objects outdoors as viable for sex. This is not a permanent change, usage of outdoor and public locations for sex will come back as I try to implement a reasonable logic for choosing these locations.
  7. Hey, you appear to have something else going on that's irrelevant to WickedWhims but perhaps combines with the mod. If you can do some more testing and help provide any more details, please do, as I'm unable to test it myself and nobody else has reported an issue like this.

I just want to let you know that WickedWhims is fully compatible with the latest game patch (1.117.221 / August 19) and does not require any updating. And as usual, all of the other mods you have installed need to be working without issues for the game and WickedWhims to function properly as well. ⚠️ Many mods were affected by this game patch, so if you're experiencing issues then you most likely have one or more of these mods installed. You will have to wait for them to be updated or delete them to play. ⚠️ Using the Pack Selection menu is likely to result in issues with mods. If you are going to use the Pack Selection feature, make sure to always turn the game off after enabling or disabling any packs.
  9. Hey! I recommend asking about this on the Sims 4 Studio forum, they will be able to help you pretty fast. It doesn't matter what the purpose is of creating this object/prop, if it's made properly for the game then WW animations will be able to use it just fine.
  10. The reason Sims use a different outfit for streaking is because the streaking interaction is from the base game so it follows the base game behavior. I won't have this corrected soon, but I will do it when I'm updating exhibitionism to have more options. Thanks for pointing it out.

  12. While working on checking how everything works with the next game patch I have made an attempt at addressing this reported issue (and similar ones before it). I don't doubt that this is a real issue as I have encountered it myself before but I'm unable to get it to occur even once when testing. There appears to be something more to it that I'm unable to identify right now. If it was as simple as explained above then I would be receiving many reports of it but these are pretty rare. I will keep looking for it, especially whenever I encounter it in my regular gameplay or random unrelated testing.
  13. Hey! Thank you for sharing your findings, you're right to think that Casual Romance progress isn't contributing enough to Sims probability of having sex. I will have that adjusted in the next update. Although the strength of Casual Romance is meant to be less than regular Romance, as it's not really possible to see it, but gaining Casual Romance is significantly easier and quicker than regular Romance.
