Just be aware you have given the path for YOUR game which apparently is "C:/Users/Alex/Documents/Paradox Interactive/Stellaris/mod/CosmoScylla" The correct general path is only "mod/CosmoScylla" as that is the cue for Stellaris to "just figure it out yourself" and it goes by the users specific path instead.

The baby itself has a tab about feeding options. The mother is by default set to provide and for ordinarily birthed children that takes precedence over childcare.
