echotest123 Posted May 12, 2018 Posted May 12, 2018 Well, this one is rather embarassing: I seem to have several entchantments from old armors stuck to my character and can't get rid of them. I tried beastform, I tried player.dispelallspells, I even tried to remove them one by one but I've not succeeded with any of those. Now I am at a loss and could use some help... while ~175% of muffling are nice to have, they ARE OP as fuck...
SirDuke Posted May 12, 2018 Posted May 12, 2018 This sounds very strange... Are you sure, these effects are from armor mods? Because using " player.dispelallspells " should really remove all "unused" effects... And even more " remove them one by one " with the command "player.removespell XXXXX" shoult totally remove it constantly. ...unless there is a quest or a script running, that re-enables this spell. ...which effect exactly are bugging you? They should have a name, even in vanilla skyrim, there is a description to the spell in your common "active effects" If you have skse installed, you should be able to use your console command menu to scroll and click through your spells as well...
RohZima Posted May 12, 2018 Posted May 12, 2018 you can do resurrect, but make a note of what effects you need to re add
RW311 Posted May 13, 2018 Posted May 13, 2018 If you removed or updated a mod while something it added was actively applied then the effects are attached to the player base but can be very hard to find since the form id's no longer exist or have been changed. Use Savetool and you should be able to clean this up without causing any problems since it will only remove the forms that don't exist, resurrect can work but it might remove all effects from the player base.
Thalmor Justiciar Posted October 28, 2020 Posted October 28, 2020 neither savetool nor player.kill and load works in this case, the enchantments are just stuck on the character ! i'm still searching through the internet for a fix and so far found none !
