Thanks. It's actually not a CC item, it's the same shirt the male sim is wearing in the first couple of pictures

It's from Laundry Day I'm pretty sure. You can have sims wear clothes meant for the opposite gender by just clicking off "feminine" or "masculine" when choosing an outfit, not everything will look good though.

I think it looks a little bit better now, adding some more curtains and using a much darker color for the walls did alot to improve it I think (no idea why I had them be so light before).

You're welcome. If it weren't for the price tag I'd atually recommend Laundry Day on the basis of the CAS stuff in it alone, there's some very nice casual clothes there. Especially for male sims.

Thanks! I did put it together, but the most of the CC is based on third party creations which I moved to different slots to avoid conflicts, slightly modified and/or recolored. The main part is Zero Suit by zz2tommy (where I only lowered the neckline so it fits the position of the collar) - I agree that the texture work is incredible on that one. I plan to eventually upload the complete costume here, along with some more variations of the theme.

 

There was one thing I meant to ask you, R-Lo - what do you use for distance blur (or is it called depth-of-field) in some of your screenshots? Is it a part of ReShade? It looks great and makes the sim really pop out from the background.

Your right! It's depth of field from Reshade, I know exactly what you mean and it's quite fun to use!

Only thing is that it doesn't play nice with alpha textures, hair, wings and some outfit layers will be caught up in it,

Sometimes an outfit will get an interesting side effect form it but alpha hairstyles are a no-no!

Roxy has escaped from her abusive Baby Daddy at long last, unfortunately it landed her in police custody seeing as it took a baseball bat to manage it,

Your totally right, ALL my hairstyle was alpha to begin with!

Then I was torn when I started to become more adventurous with the DOF and MXAO shaders,

That's when my Sims got an overhaul as it was a big game changer,

Since then I don't have any alpha hairstyles at all in my game now ?

 

Sadie is also a bit of a game changer too in her own way!

For around two years I've been using the same save file and it's quite desolate also the townies are mostly bald, badly dressed or plain naked after many batch fixes and folder clear outs!

She doesn't really fit around most of my other girls that are more anime inspired so I decided to give her a fresh game and family, later a couple of friends will visit and spice things up!

I finally tried the hidden lots mod by zerbu! was bummed that only one sim could travel and you can't summon anyone,

I was hoping to see cops around! Does the BB.freebuild work for that?

Then I can use the sim statue from build mode,

I'm yet to try since finding that info

 

Also I read about a wormhole by coolspear but couldn't find it, does that still work too?

When I did the mugshot pictures of Linnie, I used cheats to give her the NPC prisoner trait and then had a player controlled sim be a cop and travel to the station and there she was in the cell, so I could take the mugshot pictures of her and the other itneractions you can do with prisoners around the police station. That's a way to do it. If you use the less random townies mod and designate a number of uncontrolled sims as police officers and such and prisoners you can even control pretty much everyone who shows up on that lot when you travel there (for work that is).
