There are 3 downloads. Avali version 0.0.9 is meant for Legacy Sexbound and won't work with current versions (Will look as you described it with the quote).
Version 0.1.4 and 0.2.0 will both work with latest Sexbound, and 0.2.0 includes extras such as dialogue and enabling their pillows.

 

To actually help fix issues that aren't just "word of mouth", it's always best to provide the Starbound log file, found in the game's storage folder. (starbound.log or starbound as a text file) Otherwise i can just say, as i did just then, that the issue sounds like a outdated mod problem.

I'm using Sexbound Avali 1.0.0 with starbound-sexbound-3.14.0.src, but when I make avali have sex with either my character or another fellow avali, the animations don't seem like it was supposed to be.
The head of avali works perfectly fine in both case, and while all their other body parts keep dissapearing and reappearing with each move.
How can I fix this?

... you just mentioned with the image above, that there is no version 1.0.0; Only up to 0.2.0.

So, please, read better what you quoted. If you want help'&'support with the Avali support, please, post a starbound.log, and make sure you're using my support and not the very old one that was called that (the one not made by me).

Also, in the message you've quoted, it was the response to a issue that sounds the same as yours, where the problem was simply they were using a outdated one.

I don't really know if this is the best place to ask, but is there a way to make this work with Humanoid Avali or will i need to create a personal patch for that mod and remove this one?

I believe you'd need to make your own, yeah. There are tutorials for this if you'd want to use, and most provide avali support as the example anyway (I did write them after all =V )

As for deleting this one, you don't need to-- As far as i know, Humanoid Avali is a reskin mod, as in, it doesn't add a whole separate race for them, so you can just edit this existing support. Bodies and Arms are separate anyway, so you can just edit the bodies.

... yep, it's not my version you have installed. Mine isn't called "SexboundAPI", that's a old standard we stopped using, you're using DarkNinjaWolf's version, which is outdated. As the image shows here;

 

My version isn't even installed =V

 

Also concerned you maybe trolling with the character name "BadDev21", but i'll wait and see.

After i extracted the rar file it's just 1 single folder named SexboundAPI - avali

So... do i wait for your version for now? I can wait for a bit until then.
(and no I made my character Baddev2l because my previous Baddevil was just too much for me to handle (-_-))

No uh... the mod download is a pak file, you don't unpak, you just drop it in the mods folder. Like the one below;

That is tied to the Sexbound NPC type, which is part of the API. I would need to patch into that and set them to use the same clothes as their normal villagers.

I can get that done for a later update, no problem. Just waiting for the API to settle on a configuration setting so i can update things when i get into the groove.

Also, if you use "nonuniform" you should be able to give Avali outfits to specific crewmembers.

 I have nonuniform already, the "family member" NPC type still spawn in plain blue uniforms and they can't have their clothes changed at all.

I've been playing Starbound with my friends for a while, and then we loaded Sexbound and this race support mod.

He told me there were sound packs before the Avali race.Im interested so I went to Google and found nothing but a video from some orange logo website XD

So does this have a property before?Or it's just something the player chooses to create?

... you mean the moans? The sounds they were supposed to have? They did indeed have moans, then updates happened and i haven't even tested it myself with anything past 3.14, but they didn't work past 3.8 and i have no clue how they look in 3.17.2. (API Versions)

 

Unless you mean something else entirely. In which case the translation may have gotten the best of the message. Feel free to try and elaborate though.

I seems to have a little problem with avali pregnancy.
My character is pregnant, showed by the "buff" in the game but it seems to never end

I watch the logs and got this, i don't know if it's why it don't work

here's a logfile showing the error.
It seems to happen each time i enter in a world or a dungeon apparently.

I was using the 3.18.1 version of the api and goes to the 3.19 recently

(The error is still there with the 3.19)

... Ah, i see... Yeah that's not good... And it's not even a problem with the support...

The API is currently in a phase where it updates too quickly, with changes being made to the it's structure across several updates. This causes several end-user issues, between mods being outdated, but also mods just straight up not being aware of what changed and what needs to be changed.

 

In this case, Compatible Mates, which used to cause problems if it wasn't setup, is now causing problems because it is. The option has been renamed to something else in the configs, and the structure is different, so simply changing the name of it in the patch wouldn't fix it either. I wish i could simply say "I will update it to the latest version" but even if i did, there are still literally every other support that likely wouldn't get the same treatment. I will notify Locuturus of this, but it's looking like a lot of updating is due in the near future...

 

For now, all i can say is; For all users riding the update wave, be certain that things aren't going to fully work for most modded races and their supports, side mods that need an update will likely not see one anytime soon.
