ChancellorKremlin Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 I've been giving Prideslayer's SexoutNG API modders resource thread, but either I've not understood properly, or there is no way to do this outside of creating your own script through the GECK. Basically, I want to be able to cycle Sexout.anim animations just by using the console. Ie, I want to be able to click on a randon character, select a sex anim, and have it play out. I'm doing this to test all the various Sexout anims (is there a list outside of having to check it in the GECK?) and get some feedback on things such as alignment, height variables, and things like that. If there is any way of doing this outside of using the GECK I would very much appreciate it.
KainsChylde Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 With wsex.esm, you could cycle animations by hitting "/" mid-coitus. Maybe pull that apart, see if it could be adapted to sexout?

poison Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 You can cycle any animation using the PLAYIDLE command as long as you have the name for it from the GECK.

But would that just involve the player, or would I be able to get others involved too? Solo anims would be useless to me. I guess I'm going to have to go hunting in GECK after all. poison Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 They should work like any pose mod on any character you click on when used like this, though they are difficult to work with because they don't line up with anything. Also, it only lasts for one quick cycle. I know this because I ripped the meshes from most of the sex mods available to use as posing tools for screenshots. I hope that answers your question. EDIT: It's probably not what you are looking for, as everyone will just hump the air and not actually engage with anyone. Sorry. :/
DoctaSax Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 Console-testing works like this: - when the game loads, check your console for the formid of the SexoutNG quest and the SexoutBegin spell - click on a partner, type in: set "questformid".actorA/B to getself (A tends to be pitching) - set "questformid".actorA/B to player (B tends to be 'catching') - set "questformid".anim to # (the anim you want to see) - cios formid beginspell You have to re-do all of that after sex finishes because it all resets. You can use the up arrows to re-cycle earlier stuff you typed in.
