XBone Exclusive Mods?

I was looking for a voice replacement mod and found exactly what I wanted. The problem? It was made exclusively for Xbone. No big deal- I found another I liked almost as much. I was asking myself, though, why would someone make mods exclusively for Xbone? I can understand why some mods for pc simply can't be made for Xbone due to limitations. But, the reverse isn't true. Anyone else ever look for a mod only to find it's a Xbone exclusive?

Never found any sort of mod like that. If I understand it correctly--and I likely don't--you can't just load mods from the Internet onto your console; it has to go through BethNet or the CC. It could just as easily mean it simply won't run on PS4 because it violates Sony's stricter security measures. Or it means absolutely nothing to call it an "XB One exclusive."

Only on BethNet for Xbone. The author made a few mods for pc many years ago and then started making them only for Xbone. Just wondering why anyone would shun the pc comm like that!

Could be anything that triggered that attitude. If they posted their stuff on the Nexus, they may have run afoul of the special snowflakes who moderate the site. Or the self-important modders there like Arthmoor (if his Unofficial Patches weren't a necessity, I'd Ignore him).

He has always been decent with me, but, I understand your point. It is rather factionalized over there.
