skysword12 Posted April 27, 2018 Posted April 27, 2018 I am an extremely new modder, and I bought this game specifically for the opportunity to mod things. I am having troubles with said mods, as even after I downloaded, opened them with ModOrganizer2, they will not appear in game. I have downloaded all of the prerequisite mods, along with SKSE, which is the format i launch Skyrim SE on. Does anyone have any tips for help?  Note: I originally used NMM, but deleted it and am now using ModOrganizer 2.
Cock Sucker Posted April 27, 2018 Posted April 27, 2018 I think your trying to use old skyrim mods in skyrim SE that wont work.
Deman40 Posted April 27, 2018 Posted April 27, 2018 Could be lots of things.Make sure you uninstalled NMM fully. You have some errors that need addressing with Better Quest Targets.Have you installed LOOT and ran it,because it will tell you what the issues are and how to fix them.Have you configured MO2 to run the SKSE64 when launching the game. You should take time and watch or read tutorials to understand the tools that are vital to playing or modding SSE.Good Luck!
myuhinny Posted April 27, 2018 Posted April 27, 2018 You must use mods for skyrim SE or use ones that have been converted to work with SE. Also moved to skyrim SE area.
skysword12 Posted April 28, 2018 Author Posted April 28, 2018 Before I check for the Skyrim/Skyrim SE mods, is there anything needed to be done here? I am unsure of how to continue here as none of the videos I have checked acknowledge my specific issues. I have some suspicions as to what mods may be for Skyrim and not Skyrim SE, but the method used to clear them is also unclear. None of my files are in the Program files, and I am pretty sure I deleted stuff after I uninstalled NMM through the Windows Uninstall Tool. However, any advice is appreciated. Thanks  Note: I don't know if I followed the correct steps for XP32SE (checking the Skeleton Arm Fix) because Mod Organizer's data folder only shows around 3 characters before adding ... to the end of itÂ

For SKSE or any mods dependant on it to work the game has to be started via SKSE_loader.exe. That's the configuration you need.
Deman40 Posted April 29, 2018 Posted April 29, 2018 You need to educate yourself on the proper use of MO2.There are numerous tutorials available. Google is your friend .I know because I was stubborn and thought I knew what to do, when I really didn't know crap. One of the issue your having is because your not configuring Loot,SKSE64,FNIS,etc. to be run "through" MO2. You will save yourself alot of future issue by taking time to learn yourself.
