ExSimmer Posted April 24, 2018 Posted April 24, 2018 For any of you out there who would be into this sort of thing. There is a Sims 4 multiplayer mod that is said to support any cc/script mods out there as long as all people playing have it. Including WW. https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=1769&v=dUH_1CfjWHo  *Edit* Sorry to disappoint folks. I got a little excited at some false stuff and misinformed some people. Turbodriver explains it down in the thread.

There's a multiplayer mod for Skyrim (exactly what people wanted, not the MMO game they released). Think I heard there's a MP mod for Breath of the Wild. There was a mod for Just Cause 3. It's only just now happening within the past 12 months, but there may soon be a fully functional multiplayer mod for Morrowind. 1
FauxFurry Posted April 24, 2018 Posted April 24, 2018 The Sims 4 was going to have some type of multiplayer functionality added to it yet those plans were abandoned in favor of Sims Mobile. This mod looks be be set to salvage that functionality. Rather than harp on about modders finishing the jobs of professionals, I will just post a reminder of what the advertisements kept promoting will finally be able to reach its full potential. Emergent storytelling will be all the more endearing and entertaining when told Round Robin style.
ExSimmer Posted April 24, 2018 Author Posted April 24, 2018 Lol yea I wish EA wouldve kept their word on that. If this starts becoming a thing someone could setup a few servers for loverslab. Id donate.

TURBODRIVER Posted April 24, 2018 Posted April 24, 2018 Any mod that extends beyond the default mechanics of the game won't work with this. The multiplayer client<->server communication built-in the game only sends so much information so a lot of it will be missing. If the mod is built in a way that allows sending custom information then maybe, but that would require different mods to support it. 3

Maybe in the future theyll have support for script mods.

I'm somewhat involved with the project, not really officially, so I will push the ability for mods to communicate, but it all depends on what thepancake1 does. 2

Even without mods its still an incredible project. One thing ive seen with games like skyrim online were script mods couldnt work between players. Do you think there will be similar difficulty with the sims?

As long as you make them work, they should. If it's even going to be possible. And then, I would guess it's going to be really rare.

Is there a patreon or a place I can reach the owner of the project?

Which MMO, because as far as i know Bethesda Game Studio never released an MMO.
