Skin tone issue

I notice that all the NPC hav the head and body different skin tones. Has anyone had to deal with this?

So when you install skin textures, it seems you install a general set of textures all male bodies in the game. So, when you look at the textures, you have head textures and have body textures. So when your installed the skin mod, it didn't modify your head textures or you didn't modify during manual install.

bad guess

if the game can't find one of the npc headparts in the head nif, it won't load it but generate it

those 2 npcs use the same textures

but one had no head nif yet so no tintmask

 

either npc replacer x win the load order and npc replacer y win the file order, conflict between load order and file order

either he have a mod that mess with the race, that don't come with updated head nif (you can't do that for all mods that come with npc, you use that kind of mods? you generate heads for your load order yourself)

either he have a mod that regenerate those npc head for some reason

Actually, I've had a bad install with a skin mod one time that didn't install the head textures and I have forgot to install them manually one time. It can happen, not a bad guess considering that it will be a different tone from the rest of the body.

Alt you can just install better-looking skins

and then you can use this for females both a CBBE version and a UNP version

Also I forgot to mention that this issue is also happening to females too.
