hey can someone clarify if bethesda's new large patches for both FO4 and Skyrim SE are just game patches and NOT CC content? i've been reading some posts that its CC content but I thought they stopped doing that when people complained that they didn't want the garbage CC shit taking up space on their HD. whats the real deal?

Quite certain that this is only about Creation Shitclub.

Lucky me, updated FO4 and all mods a few days ago - next morning i saw the "update required" prompt in Steam.

so my question about whether they still make ppl DL the crap onto our HDs and its just locked until purchase? do they still do this?

My FO4 is up to date and other than the stuff I opted to DL from the CC (the free stuff) I haven't had anything forced from the update since the update done back on 2/28/18.

However I will say since this latest update the load times have drastically improved.

I still have a bunch of auto-downloaded CC files in my data folder, though only the very old content. So i guess after changing the download method, they didn't feel it necessary to have Steam clean up the crap.

So the answer is "probably no", it does no longer download anything from the CC.

thank the Lord! omg I was seriously concerned. I mean they must seriously be retarded to even think that was a viable methodology as our HDs are "finite" and their shit garbage is "infinite"
