Is it possible to have two different version of Outfit Studio installed?

So as some of you might have seen in my other thread, an accidental benefit of older versions of Outfit Studio is that it deletes transformation data (which means it deletes dirty transformation data!), because it doesn't read it in the first place - the ability to include that information simply wasn't a feature yet.

Now, you can still fix this issue of dirty transforms in the latest Outfit Studio by copying bone weights and then weight panting any mesh areas which aren't copied over. However, since I'm trying to do a large number of conversions for a complete overhaul mod which has no female versions for almost any of its armours, AND because I have very little experience with weight painting, it would be both easier AND faster for me to simply open each outfit in, say, OS v3.5, export to .nif after fixing the transform, and then doing any more detailed work (reshaping) in the current Outfit Studio (OS v4.5.2).

Is there any possible way I can install OS twice without setting up a completely second install of Skyrim? The only thing I can think of is having different profiles through Mod Organizer, bun then I'm still loading and unloading the damn program each time and I'm really not a fan of MO anyway (sorry MO fans).

You do understand that you asking for miracles?

But if you have 2 PC you can have one modding Skyrim at one of them, but you cant use the tools at the same time.

As a manual installer for everything, I have several copies of OS available to use on one PC.

Would guess for MO, you could do same?

Have no idea of the finerys of MO.

But one workable solution would be you would output your files to special folders, wrap them up in your usual MO compatible format (.zip or whatevs), and install as if you DL'd them.

So that might an extra step.  But really not more than a minute.

So the way to  have multiple OS available is install them to different directories

like

Caliente Tools\Bodyslide

Caliente Tools\Boddylide v4.5.2

Caliente Tools\Boddylide v4.5.3

Your output folders that you have for each save project is the critcial thing you need to keep straight.

Hm! Not a bad idea. It's worth a try anyway!

you can. I have 2 versions. One of them has all my CBBE stuff. One of them has all my UUUNP stuff. I just uncheck the one I don't want, check the one I do want (left pane of MO) and then remember to run the correct executable through MO, (note to self, give them better names). Zero issues.
