The author of this mod hasn't visited here in five years, this mod is completely obsolete as everything it does and contains was long ago added to the Zaz Animation Pack which you can get the current version of here: https://www.loverslab.com/topic/93211-zaz-animation-pack-v80-plus/

 

That thread would also be the place to ask questions but you really do need to install that version first. 

 

However I believe the answer to your questions are that your followers will stay there until you release them (some follower mods may summon your followers which could "free" them though) and the devices should remain until you remove them or start a new game.  It's hard to say for sure, it's been years since I last used this.

The features of this classic mod has been updated and improved in the "l'll take the display model 2" mod found in these forums.  The actors will retain their poses and there are some custom poses added.  Check it out if you haven't already.
