TJHinSkyrim Posted March 9, 2018 Posted March 9, 2018 I've previously created in-game nude bodysuits using UNP, UNPB & UNPCM meshes so my characters can easily swap from their default UUNP meshes to a different body type when trying different outfits, etc. These bodysuits are using biped slot 32 and because the different meshes are all UNP variants, I haven't needed to use different textures. I'm now trying to replicate the process and create bodysuits using CBBE meshes. I understand that a UNP texture won't fit a CBBE mesh and accordingly, I edited the meshes in NifSkope to point to CBBE textures that I've saved in the relevant mod. When I preview the outfits in the Creation Kit, they look fine, but when I put them on an NPC (or even my PC) in game, it looks like a UNP texture is being applied to the CBBE mesh. Does anyone have an idea of what I might be doing wrong?
RW311 Posted September 30, 2018 Posted September 30, 2018 Check if your armor had texture sets assigned, this will overwrite whatever path you assign to the nif. Another thing that will bypass nif settings is if the armor adds specific race addons and you forgot to remove them and add that race to the armor addon instead.
RomeoZero Posted October 4, 2018 Posted October 4, 2018 Im using this method from 2012 for sexlab and screenshots. You can equip any body or texture to an NPC only if they are not bound by CK textures. PC can use any equipable body texture except its head, so you need to match the color for the head and body in this matter.
Andy14 Posted October 4, 2018 Posted October 4, 2018 As RW3211 already said, texture sets are used as skin texture. And these texture sets use the UNP textures
