Too Many Animations

I'm running Skyrim SE using NMM and am trying to use Sexlab Light SE v 0.1.1.  I also have Flower Girls.  When I run FNIS I get the following error:  ERROR(2026): Too many animations  699 (..\..\meshes\actors\character\animations\SexLab\FNIS_SexLab_List.txt):  + 3j_Anal_A2_S2 3j_Anal_A2_S2.hkx.  I don't get the message when sexlab isn't enabled and it's only flower girls.  It runs normally.

 

Other people are obviously having success with this framework.  So I must be doing something wrong.  Any idea what that might be?  That's the only sexlab mod I have enabled.  My FNIS is version 7.1

Try the FNIS XXL version, it allows to register many more animations, download it( on the same page for Fnis on Nexus (in optional: FNIS Behavior SE 7_2 XXL )

No idea why and hopefully this doesnt jinx me but my FNIS is working with MO2 v2.11 so it's on your end. I have no clue how you would figure out why, but MO would be worth the effort to me.

yea. its fine. I already unistalled all mods.. I have never got MO2 working so I have used MO1. I would use Vortex but I dont know how to use FNIS with vortex

I have 5955 animations with just Flowergirls, amorous adventures, FG BDSM, and a couple poser mods. So it seems it's probably a conflict and not really a matter of "too many" animations. FG is not a Sexlab mod, and I'm sure that they both have a lot of the same animations, so maybe a conflict there. "Too many" might mean that there are too many instances of the same animation and so FNIS doesn't know which to run, especially if the anims have the same name. Have had to choose one or the other and going with FG until there are more Sexlab modules. FG doesn't require Sexlab, and Sexlab framework doesn't do anything by itself, so it seems that all it's doing in your build is doubling up on animations and throwing errors.

weird I got less than 5000 animations. :confused:

MO2 works fine with FNIS XXL. I have around 10,000 animations: Sexlab, Animated Pros, Flower Girls, SoS Lite, Zaz Animations, SLAL and Funny Biz, etc. and more. I also use PCEA2 and Sexy Move.  (Yes, this is Skyrim SE!)

 

That said, the very latest FNIS update is a little bit weird as it flicks up a load of DOS screens and the final "completed" screen hides behind MO2. I have to use Alt Tab to pull it up and click Finish.  However, it does work completely correctly.  Fore does not support MO or MO2 with FNIS but I have rarely had a problem with it.

 

There are videos on installing FNIS with MO. The principles are identical for MO2.

Wow, so it's definitely not an issue with redundant animations then, as SL, AP and FG all share a lot of the same ones. I had thought that his "too many animations" error could mean too many of the same animation. But you are running that build with no issues, so the error must be implementation at the user end.

Regarding redundant animations; I suppose I could clear them out, but I think Sexlab registers the various animations and thereby ignores duplicates? Anyhow, it does not appear to affect my game.  The animations play out fine.

I'm getting a similar error when running that FNIS generator with the Light version of the framework. I used the "oldrim" version 1.62 (still in Skyrim SE) and it gave me another error ingame, well just a notice, not an actual error, that I should use the latest version, but 1.62 IS the latest version (at least for oldrim), so I looked up here and found out, that there's a Light version meant directly for SSE, while the oldrim version was basically fine with that FNIS doodad, the Light version has a problem with it. Any idea, what's going on here?

 

EDIT: in addition to this error, the two FNIS mods, that actually have their own MCM configuration, namely FNIS PCEA2 and FNIS Sexy Moves, just stopped working ingame. The other two, FNIS behavior (the main FNIS mod) and FNIS Creatures, are working fine, together with Flower Girls, Amorous Adventures (which doesn't have animations on it's own, but works closely with FG), Immersive wenches (again with FG), those are fine, so I have some animations still, but I gues because of this error in the FNIS generator the other two FNIS parts gave me that error ingame.

Wonder if I can go around it with the oldrim SL Framework? Uninstal SLLight, instal oldrim SL, run FNIS generator, then again uninstal oldrim SL and instal SLLight back. Worth trying.

 

EDIT 2: not working either. My character is now stuck in one pose without any animation ever.

 

EDIT 3: fixed. She's moving again. But I have only FNIS animations for FG sex. There are no animations for sex lab, while I hear moaning and stuff, both actors are just standing in the same spot (sharing it, so both are stuck in each other), not moving, until the "animation" ends. Am I missing some files perhaps?

Hey, you might not have heard but Ashal released a beta Sexlab 1.63 for SE recently. Most of the discussion about it and converted/working mods can be found here: https://www.loverslab.com/topic/94228-sse-conversion-tracking-mar-13-rev-7/

I've installed this beta, but it was late in the night, I was lazy to write this. Everything is finally working now, every animation. Some other mods were interferring with the function (like "Pretty combat moves"), causing the game to crash when starting brawl (for example with Uthgerd), I had to uninstal them as well. Now I can do things to them and the game is completely fine with it. Orgies in the Bannered Mane, yeeeey! XD

Also I couldn't do the main quest, trying to get to High Hrothgar, when I met a bear on the road up there, the game crashed. Don't know, if it still does, have to try it out again (I had to go to bed), but seeing that now Uthgerd is fine, maybe the bear is too (a small fox, that my adoptive daughter adopted fucked my housecarl in Breezehome, so a bear shouldn't cause much trouble, should he now? XD).

 

EDIT: something is still causing problem in the Soul Cairn (I've completed Dawnguard as soon as possible, having Serana around me, my vampire gf. XD), I still had to use the console to solve some things in there, I defeated Durnehviir myself, but before him, I had to use "set stage" for those guardians, so I've completed that goal with 0 out of 3 guardians, lol. Later going back for Valerica, yes, it is optional, but I'm a nice vampire hunter (in love with her vampire daughter), I was stuck on the way back out of there. I couldn't get to the exit of Soul Cairn, so I had to "coc Whiterun" instead and then return to Soul Cairn and quickly exit for Valerica being able to return to Tamriel. I'm not sure, which mod does screw up my game here, but it is pretty similar to the crash with the bear (I guess, some creature in Soul Cairn wasn't compatible with my mod sellection, just like the bear on the road to HH wasn't).

 

EDIT 2: that bear problem (global wilderness) is still present, I can't leave Whiterun for a longer walk, once I meet some wildlife, the game CTDs.

 

EDIT 3: seems, the whole issue was in a wrong load order. Reinstalling didn't help, I've made the same mistakes again and again. Even starting a new game was impossible, at the moment in Helgen, where you have to take the controls of your newly created character and escape Alduin's wrath, the game CTDs immediately.

I've made some rearrangement of the active plugins, now I've came as far as to Riverwood, where I saved, so it seems fixed so far. There were wolves by the road, but I've disabled creature sex for now, so there was no issue with them. I might later try to enable that and see, if it works, or not.

i was using like 4400 animation but was getting a crash when starting a new game and load previous game i had too disable some slal animation after disable billy slal my animation count went back to 1900 now i can load skyrim se again, not sure why it named xxl if it is not loading right ? it is suppose to support 20000 animation but it is not working as advertised.

Fnis XXL supports 20k animation, Skyrim on the other hand supports way less, at least for most. I guess that's why there is a warning on FNIS page that the game can become instable using XXL. How many animations your game can handle depends on your rig and other mods you have installed. As far as I understand a game with heavy script load can handle less animations.
