Fire darkens screen instead of pops

Sooooooo im pretty sure this is because of the ENB, but it's annoying. What controls that in the ENB settings? this is an example

yet if the fire isnt in my field of direct vision (Aka Camera) then it doesn't darken the screen

It's more likely the speed of the exposure changes rather than the effect itself.

i was gonna test the adaptation thing soon; is there a way to change the speed of exposure? it will be bright then fade to dark when i look at something too bright
