MrGrey Posted February 26, 2018 Posted February 26, 2018 Does adding underwear work anymore? I'm pretty sure it once did. I'm using the latest public release. I found the instance, enter it into the dialog box, and the number of registered bras didn't increment. I tried it with different instances, and with and with out the 0x prefix, and nothing. But come to think of it, last time a female did the strip tease, they went straight from top on to topless. Is this no longer an interaction?
morpheousz Posted February 26, 2018 Posted February 26, 2018 You cannot add a "Top" or "Bottom" as underwear, you have to create a copy of the package and edit the slot that the item takes up, here's a guide: https://www.loverslab.com/topic/56477-sims3guide-edit-cc-flags-with-s3oc-custom-underwear-okw-and-more/
MrGrey Posted February 26, 2018 Author Posted February 26, 2018 Thank you. It's an interesting tutorial. I was able to make some underwear, the resources showed up in accessories as "right garter", but it was still not able to add the bras and panties. Does this work for you or am I doing something wrong?
landess Posted March 2, 2018 Posted March 2, 2018 The accessories right and left garter are correct for the default KW underwear (bottoms/tops). I personally tried adding more custom panties and entering the listed instance ID's which were included with the download. For some reason the game didn't recognize all of the entries so I left it at that. After noticing the latest public KW update included a few more default pantie styles, I just removed those others I had downloaded. Call me lazy but those hex numbers needing to be added to each world I have been playing on was a bit much. I can add that part of the reason for removal was, after the update, these newer panties remained equipped like any other accessory unlike the KW defaults (as if KW didn't recognize them anymore). Now that I think of it, I did have to re-enter a lot of info like the animation lists once again after updating. So it could have been these hex numbers were also removed. I guess I'll mess with adding these panties again, entering the ID's, and checking the results.

Adding them each time is annoying, but you can export/import KW settings which includes which animations and underwear you have registered, so it's pretty easy to just export when you are happy with KW settings / animations / underwear and then import on another world and you are good to go. When making a clone of a bra/panty that is a top/bottom originally to make it an accessory, you have to check the box that says "Renumber/rename internally", and enter a new "Unique name (used as internal name and hash seed)". Then you can grab the "Resource Key". I'm not sure exactly why, but I think if you don't do this and you grab the "Resource Key", the key is still the same as the original top/bottom, so KW thinks you are trying to register something that is invalid. I also think I checked the box "Include thumbnails" if the top/bottom i was converting had a icon, otherwise when it lists it in the accessory browser, you just see a generic pic a garter which is not much of a indication on which bra/panty you are picking.
