yatol Posted February 26, 2018 Posted February 26, 2018 to port v8, it's the same as porting witcher, bdo, doa and the rest (have fun) there's v4, v6 and m6 already ported, what's the point to redo that for newer version? not much difference between genesis 3 and genesis 2 (2 textures for limbs instead of 1, that's about it) took that from a russian blog, it's not bad, but it's not an hd texture (or he had a huge loss of details) that one is still hd nice details on the feets, it's on the hands you want more details details you can't see here (hd hands, it's for first person view)

yatol Posted February 26, 2018 Posted February 26, 2018 doesn't change anything if the meshe is an armor, a body, or a chair.... and there's tutos for that or the way of the one that don't feel wasting hours in 3dmax you import skyrim body in daz mess around with the body slider to make your skyrim pose and everything you load on your v4 is converted to skyrim (then it's just exporting as .obj, and importing that in blender to export as .nif) that genesis 2 pose doesn't load on genesis 3 unp still unp no longer unp and no need for a daz slider in bodyslide or all that converting crap

Good morning, i'm sorry for such necroposting but where can i find those ported versions of Genesis body? Or may be you do mean Krista's Demonica one which is made of Victoria-body as i heard? It's fine too but that body seems doesnt got physics. It would be almost perfect to get Demonica (or tuned Genesis) body under UUNP or smth with full Special functions, good textures, some sliders, and with no pain. I bet someone already made it, i just cant find. smth like this: Spoiler

And i dont get it - did you fixed that demonica and use it as nord with sliders and everything is fine? I'm not really in modding, so could you give some tips how to reach daz-quality body from daz or demonica or i dont know with regular UUNP functions? What should i dig? I tried to export genesis 8 to outfit studio, but ended at part where i need to weight mesh, i dont even know what weight mesh means yet, lol, but i know it's another pain in the ass. yatol Posted June 14, 2019 Posted June 14, 2019 6 hours ago, CatsXs said: Then i recalled you said about already ported versions. demonica it's an edited v4 to try to make it look like an edited skyrim body eva it's v6, but russian have snap edited v4 head on that another useless waste of time to get inferior stuff, for you to not be able to just save a random daz texture as .dds and use it on that, you are supposed to be stuck with whatever the russian release that conversion is a genesis, and if you import that back on daz, and adjust a genesis to it, there isn't much to do for your genesis to match that (same as converting unp to cbbe, there's just leg to move around a little too, neck, hands and whatever) once that's more or less the same, if you feel like using v6 head, genesis 3 head or whatever, you just have to export that, and replace head with that (if you don't replace body, just snap head mesh vertices on body, and it will fit) no tri files for that head? tri files it's just picking angry, happy, nose4, eye7 and whatever, export that, delete the body, save it as nose4.obj, then compress those .obj as chargen.tri (2-3 min per .obj, about 60 .obj, that's done in one hour) adding labia to the body, it's the same, download one for v6, load it on your genesis, export that, either you replace body with that, either you delete replaced part, merge that on body, snap it, and done and converting armors, it's just loading the armor on genesis, and that's it, that armor is now converted to a body similar to what you use in game, you just have to save the exported .obj as .nif, save the .jpg as .dds, distribute sbp x to the meshes, copy paste weights, nothing hard either you have already mess with most of that stuff if you have convert a cbbe armor to unp, doing the same for a body, a chair or whatever, that change nothing fair skin, mature and whatever are done the same way (you import unp in daz, adjust genesis to it, and convert genesis texture to that uv map, no idea what they use for that, replacing unp with similar genesis make more sense)

I'll be really grateful for help. There are tuts on youtube but all DAZ 3d violated EULA assets you can get on Nexusmods ( Atomicbody\Dizona and others) just keep looking for a right asset.
