I have to force it to close with task-manager and if this does not work the first time I have to restart my pc. Also I dont get any Error-Messages. Kriegera Posted February 24, 2018 Posted February 24, 2018 The carriage ride to Helgen is the single buggiest thing Bethesderp has ever coded. Don't even try to fix it just use an alternate start mod like live another life.

How about this: switch them all of and report to us how many you can use, while the start is still stable. Activate 10 mods a time. Sooner or later you find just the one (typ) that causes the problem.
Guest Posted February 27, 2018 Posted February 27, 2018 did you try opening console and typing coc riverwood on the game start load screen, just to troubleshoot and see if its a mod conflicting with the beginning of the game or the game as a whole?

Cleaned my Files with TES5Edit but I still get a freeze when I load into the big World-Map. Also it appears that If I move to close to Helgen (or the Area around it) it freezes. Tried using coc riverwood, it appears to be the game as a whole or specificly the world-map. Also I use Alternate Start - Live Another Life and spawned randomly at different locations. Looks like some areas of the world-map are causing these crashes. Trying my best to find solutions... all I can add is that I tried combining the Ultimate Skyrim Guide with SexLab mods.

New Skyrim install, then graphic updates used in ENBs, sounds, ELF / ELO, ENB, don't forget the SMIM e.g., skeleton, basic UNP or CBBE body. If that runs stable, enhance your setup from there. How to find the point where your Skyrim is broken? It could be anything. Maybe an INI setting. No idea. Get everything new. Don't worry, we all had to do this several times. Keep reading guides. Keep your knowledge growing.

Thanks for your help for now! Try to get used to MO - mod organzier. It is more difficult to use than NMM, but it also gives far better feedback on the consequences of what you are doing, plus lets you understand better how mods interact with each other. For Oldrim, MO is the most used mod manager, I dare say. Off the record, but since you never mentioned it: why not go for Newrim (64bit), instead of builind up Oldrim again. Might be a good alternative.

Also I am totally new to MO so... Yes, the special edition is regarded as Newrim, or a 64bit Skyrim. It runs very smooth. And yes, many mods for Oldrim (32bit) are not yet available for the SE (special edition). But progress is made every day, and there is even a fully functional Sexlab in the making for Newrim. Plus, if you are used to NMM (nexus mod manager), you will be happy to hear that it is easy to get Newrim up and running with NMM. So, you can either try to get used to MO and manage to get a sparkly Oldrim up and running, with all its kink, or you follow the lighter path, get Newrim and NMM, search the nexus and the DL section here for appropriate mods and be happy. As I said, it all depends on what you definetly want to have ingame. If it's sexy poses and animations, I say "go Newrim". If it's kinky torture stuff and the like, Oldrim might be the thing... but in any way, it is hard to say how long Oldrim will be supported once Newrim offers everything. Hey, but who am I - just a user with some experience in using.

Where can you find SSE-SexLab? You could try looking in the SSE section of Lovers Lab - a crazy plan but it just might work.

Astrathefluffyderg Posted March 25, 2018 Posted March 25, 2018 personally i don't plan on getting special edition for many personal reasons that i will not share though one is the fact that creation club installs all of the content that you still have to pay to use on your PC and half of the payed mods are half-assed copy pastes of free Skyrim-LE mods oh and whole Oldrim and Newrim BS going around the web. so me testing special edition mods is out of the question.
