Another Kinky World High School.

I like my build because it is small (30x30). So it's perfect for smaller worlds.

It is thoroughly tested and was shared on Oniki Kay Patreon.
I'm sharing the bit barren version on purpose, so it will be easy for you to make it at your own taste.
It needs a bit of a decorator's touch.
It's a bit country & islandsy, islandly, island.. emm it looked nice on the island of Cape Garner where i built it at first.
Ohyea, the bathrooms use the glory hole toilet stands.

Needs Late Night, Generations & University.
Only 1 piece of CC, Around The Sims 3's upper left school desk.

If you don't want any CC, then simply replace it with a dinner table.

Be sure to enable 'High School' in KW Settings (Global Settings).
Click on the school -> 'Venue' to 'High School'.
And make sure to make the students and staff eligible, automatically or at your own choice.

How did you installed the sims3pack? Assuming you installed it through the Launcher it should have a custom content icon.

 

But in case you've never installed a sims3pack

Download and copy/paste the sims3pack to My Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads\.

To install just one Sims3Pack.

Open the Launcher.

Select the CC you wish to install.

Hit install

To install many Sims3Pack at a time. Same as above

Also sims3pack could be unpacked using Sims3Pack Multi Installer tool and you could then place package file into Library folder (not in Mods, because it's a lot package) - \Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Library. Sims 3 launcher does the same, but in addition, it creates redundant backups and other garbage.

This is weird. This package turned in two times less than sim3pak. Usually the same ...

That's because it's using a CC item that you also need to download. The more CC that is used the smaller the package when converted from a sims3pack.

As long as you put the High School package in the Library then yes but if you don't have the desk (which you put in your mods folder) it's using you'll need to replace them.

I don't think you can change school hours, at least easily.
It will also confuse the police  because there is a curfew for teens from 22:00.
It's a good idea tho.

in my game world is democracy (unlike my real world) and not curfew is for all:)))

When I go to edit the lot type, in the world editor, all I see is Academy.  I don't see a type for "school".  What should the lot type be called?

Academy is fine, and recommended by the creator of another school download (LungPaul). Because it's 'not' a rabbithole, certain objects may increase the chances of the game pushing 'non student' sims to the lot. I tried making the KW school lot 'Visitor's not allowed', but that messed with the school being able to function.

 

Setting the lot type before placing the building gives more options, although I never tried this particular lot, so it may have lot association flags within the lot mod itself.
