So, Camera focus; exclusive to some ENBs?

So i went from using Tetra ENB to using the K ENB Light Purity settings. besides the odd sharpness of K ENB I love the overall lighting and pop it gives but I noticed it doesn't do the whole camera focus thing; is there a way to set that?

This focus is what I mean; this is with tetra ENB 20180221135911_1.thumb.jpg.3b48252a2177735686d196a29deecf1d.jpg

VS K ENB

Honestly though looking at both I think i like how soft Tetra is anyway; only problem with tetra is that it seems to dim everything when lighting effects get too strong and makes it dull instead of pop like it does with K ENB

Thanks in advanced if anyone has insight

That "camera focus" you are talking about is Depth of Field. It's one of the default effects included in ENB, but each preset usually has it's own settings and/or custom code for it.

First and foremost, make sure it's actually enabled in the ENB config for K ENB, because it may come disabled by default. If after enabling it and playing with it's settings (right-side window in the ENB menu, the one labeled "enbdepthoffield.fx" or "enbdepthoffield.fx.ini") it's still not to your taste, you could copy the enbdepthoffield.fx file from Tetra and overwrite the one from K with it.

As long as it doesn't rely on other files/code it should give you the exact same DOF code as Tetra has, though of course the end result will vary since you will be using a different ENB preset.

ah i was wondering if i could do that; I was even considering transfering shaders but that'd prob be dangerous lol. I did see depth of field was on but didnt do anything oddly. lastly any idea why the tetra dims the fire so much? thanks again you're awesome

Mixing and matching ENB shaders is certainly possible, at least with the DOF. As for it being on but having no effect, maybe its default settings mean there's only a very weak static DOF (aka obejcts in the long distance are slightly blurred) or you need to have some object right in your face for the DOF to take effect. Otherwise, playing with the setting should have some kind of effect, so you may want to give it a try.

No idea on the fire, so one of the actual ENB-savy people would have to answer that question.

Kyo has custom settings for everything, and K already has one of the most expensive and strongest DoF settings around, apparently you didn't dl the max version becomes it comes standard on pure light on the max preset and is even stronger than SnapDragon.

To get rid of the sharpening in K, open enbeffectprepass.fx and find GRAIN

set the grain setting to 0

below that will be sharpening set it 0

below that will be another grain setting, also set that to 0

save it, done.

Ah okay, i will mess with the grain settings; and yeah I have the Quality build right now so I will try adjusting DOF; when i messed with numbers initially it didn't do anything much. I just downloaded an ENB manager so that will help from ruining my game lol. thanks again!
