solomonsfryhle Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 I cannot seem to get any of the animations working. Ark of Truth Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 Fallout3.esm Anchorage.esm BrokenSteel.esm PointLookout.esm ThePitt.esm Zeta.esm  How the hell do you have these in the New Vegas folder? Like what the fuck?
DoctaSax Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 How about Astymma's skeleton? The NVSE Extender plugins? Checked out the FAQ's troubleshooting section?
srayesmanll Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 Load order (at least for sexout) looks correct. I suspect NVSE. Â 1: Are you launching with NVSE, or through Steam? You need to make sure you are launching through NVSE. Â 2: There are 2 parts to NVSE: prideslayer's modified version of NVSE (currently labeled as b13) and the NVSE extender (which is normally included in the core fomod). I would verify both bits of the NVSE. Go to the current link for the modified NVSE (http://www.loverslab.com/showthread.php?tid=5965), download these versions and install them in the proper place (modified NVSE in the folder with the FONV executable, NVSE extender in the Data/NVSE/Plugins folder). Â 3: Disable any dance/pose mods you may have (didn't see any, but sometimes the esp name is misleading).
srayesmanll Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 Fallout3.esm Anchorage.esm BrokenSteel.esm PointLookout.esm ThePitt.esm Zeta.esm  How the hell do you have these in the New Vegas folder? Like what the fuck?  Looks like they are using Requiem for a Capital Wasteland (name?) combining FO3 and FONV.
solomonsfryhle Posted September 4, 2012 Author Posted September 4, 2012 @Ark of Truth Something called requiem for the capital wasteland or something like that. it merges the two games. i had it working fine with sexout up untill the latest version (as in was working with .69) Â @Doctasax yup. have the skeleton and body replacer and everything. would you recommend that i remove all files associated with sexout and do a clean install? And by NVSE extender plugins, you mean the ones made available by Prideslayer? if so then yep have that too. Â @srayesmanll Is the core fomod supposed to be placing the extender files outside of the NVSE Extender folder but in the plugins folder? because it is when i install it and this seems to crash nvse right off the bat. and yea im launching through nvse. and nope don't have any dancemods
DoctaSax Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 If you do have Pride's custom NVSE, his NVSE plugins, astymma's skeleton (not BnB) correctly installed, and no pose mods, then I don't know what's going on.
solomonsfryhle Posted September 4, 2012 Author Posted September 4, 2012 @doctasax what do you mean by not bnb? as in not the bnb skeleton files or as in no bnb altogether? Â also, are the 2 extender files supposed to be directly in the plugins folder or in its own folder. if so, how do i stop the plugins folder from crashing nvse? i am a complete novice as you can probably tell
DoctaSax Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 It used to be you had to install the BnB skeleton. Now you need Astymma's compatibility skeleton, which also has BnB functionality.
solomonsfryhle Posted September 4, 2012 Author Posted September 4, 2012 Okay, so i have determined that my problem is that the animations won't work because i had placed the extender files in a separate folder inside of the plugins folder. when it is placed without being in another folder and placed directly in the plugins folder nvse crashes on startup with fallout crashing alongside with it. any idea as to why this is?
DoctaSax Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 Crash on startup is often caused by a plugin trying to find a missing master. Other than that, the plugins should definitely be in plugins, but are you sure the main NVSE is in the root folder (where the exe is)?
solomonsfryhle Posted September 4, 2012 Author Posted September 4, 2012 @doctasax yup i'm absolutely sure. when i remove those 2 plugin files, nvse works just fine. with those plugins, nvse crashes on startup.
perty Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 Don't forget to download the data fomod. It's at the top of the page instead of at the bottom where it would be logical to look. Â Also, it's here: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?hwpamd9cvw6ci1s
solomonsfryhle Posted September 4, 2012 Author Posted September 4, 2012 just wanted to put it out there that everything works except for animations when nvse is launched through fomm with the 2 nvse extender files are installed, but still crashes when nvse is launched by itself
zippy57 Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 You're launching through Steam, right, and not from something in the data folders?
solomonsfryhle Posted September 4, 2012 Author Posted September 4, 2012 my fallout is indeed not attached to steam. is this a problem?
zippy57 Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 If you're running a pirated copy it's unpredictable and we can't help you.
solomonsfryhle Posted September 4, 2012 Author Posted September 4, 2012 I have 2 copies. one which you have specified and the steam copy which i could not get RFCW to work with. should i try the other copy then?
zippy57 Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 Yes. Due to the changes made to them, cracked versions of the game can do weird things. If you have a Steam version please try running Sexout on that.
solomonsfryhle Posted September 4, 2012 Author Posted September 4, 2012 well, time to reinstall and copy over all of my mods... this is probably going to take a while... a long while...
zippy57 Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 I suggest you move only the Sexout mods and make sure they are working before moving anything else over.
solomonsfryhle Posted September 4, 2012 Author Posted September 4, 2012 okay so i did the same with the steam version. this time, nvse didnt crash but the animations still didn't play. all of the sound, positioning and effect work so that the npc and i stand inside of each other, but not actually pose in any of the positions whether they be anal vaginal etc. I am at a complete loss as to what i am to do next.
