Fallout 4 Sanctuary CTD on new game

So, I'm getting... well instant CTD when I try to enter sanctuary on a new game... with or without Four play enabled... I really am trying to do a fourplay Run, when I have the mods installed the order is

Alright, I fixed the prior problem, and am now having a new problem of the game crashing as soon as combat starts, however the concord battle went just fine

Is this all combat, or just combat in a certain area?   Is the Crash repeatable or intermittent?

Is this a new game? or is this something that just started in an existing game?

The arbitration mods might be your culprit, but that could be a load order problem.

For some reason the 2 log files you posted mentions at least 3 different windows profile names:

 

Papyrus.0.log:98

Papyrus.1.log:578

Papyrus.1.log:588

 

Is it the cause of your crash? No idea, but to me that has red flags all over it. If those profile names are indeed legit I'd advice you to audit the security of your PC.

Has anyone come to a fix to this yet? I reinstalled fo4 then downgraded again so that f4se works properly with it and the mods, tried setstage and coc to bypass the "go home" objective and elevator ideas of fixing the glitch, disabled and re-enabled mods, restarted the game 4 times from beginning. ran LOOT many times, even though I know it can mess up the load orders more than help. Nothing I have tried except running it vanilla will allow me to play pass the bridge leading to sanctuary from the vault.

Those are just folder structures captured by the compiler of the computer the script was compiled on. It’s a string identifier, it’s not trying to actually point to that location.

Did this ever get resolved? I have the same issue. I did a complete clean install of F4 and loaded up my usual CBBE and armor mods etc. Everything is ok initally but as soon as i attempt to install and run any Fourplay related mods, i cant get passed that dammed bridge leading from the Vault. Worse still, once the issue has manifested, i still cant do it even will all my mods disabled. Whatever this issue is it seems to break F4SE or be related to it.

Yeah got that problem with CTD as soon as I cross the bridge too or go around, seems to be when you change to that cell, I went miles in other direction ok.

So i'm now on my fourth complete re-install of F4. Yesterday i managed to get everything installed that i wanted including fourplay etc. Ran the game for hours and hours including save/quit and load again without any issues at all. Today i get home from work and its back to crash crash crash. Now i'm starting to think that my PC just does'nt like FO4 or F4SE or something. All the posts that google comes up with related to this issue are all two or more years old so i don't know what the hell has gone wrong. (eyes nvidia driver suspiciously)

 

I think i'm just gonna bin off FO4 and play Skyrim for a couple of weeks until enough egg heads start having the same issue and work out what the hell someone did !

I'm glad to know its not just me, its damn annoying, ever after I uninstall everything the problem continues on clean saves, only way I got over that bridge is to wipe my data folder completely, validate files and play vanilla.

So ive noticed that once it starts happening, I cant run the game with a custom.ini at all or it will crash. I have to delete "fallout4custom" entirely and run the game through the vanilla launcher with no mods loaded. Cant even use F4SE or i still crash. @Halstrom, i did what you did at one stage. Ran off in completely the opposite direction, no crashes. So consoled my way through the "go home" and the first Minutemen quests so that my quest log was clear. I ran over to that national guard place and cleared it out, still no crashes. But, once i zoned back out, i CTD'd as i ran away from the entrance to the place. So then i used COC to move to outside of Goodneighbor. No crashes there either. It seems like my crashes only happen in certain areas which started me thinking that i might have a bad texture or mesh somewhere, but i have verified my files and there is no issue. All i am certain of so far is that the crashes only happen in outside areas and that they happen apparently randomly. The biggest hurdle is that there does'nt seem to be any way to work out why you crash. I have been told several times that Papyrus logs are no use other than to mod authors to diagnose their mods. So if you have run loot and Fo4edit and get no reports of issues from them, what the hell else are you supposed to do but run the game in boring ass vanilla mode? :cry:

Sooo, another thing i have noticed. I just started a new game (must have done that 100 times since my crashing started) and i spotted something that might be an issue.

 

The last few lines of my log are along the lines of..

 

 

[03/29/2018 - 11:56:54PM] error: Cannot call spawnBird() on a None object, aborting function call
stack:

I have noticed a few crash logs that mention birdspawnerscript...right before the crash and the fact that the game appears to be stack-dumping seems significant. BTW i have relatively few mods loaded compared to some people and i started this particular game using Startmeup and chose the underground bunker start point. The game crashes a few seconds after i zone out. So its like "he zoned out, lets spawn a few birds nearby. Oh snap, cant find any birds, oh well, lets CTD him and laugh while he screams at his PC again"

 

Any Papyrus guru's reading this that could confirm or deny that this is significant?
