Check My Mod Build!

Hi everybody, after doing a major overhaul to the mods that I've been using and trying to get back into Skyrim, I was hoping I could check the more veteran users on Loverslab to see if they could take a look at my mod priority order and Load Order as per Mod Organizer to make sure I have everything lined up properly.  I've been dealing with a few difficulties recently and have decided to go over all of my mods, check if they're the most recent builds, etc. and try to figure out which ones I don't really need anymore, but some of this is beyond my ken.  Any suggestions or advice as to which mods are unnecessary, or which mods might be causing CTD or Script Conflicts, or what order they should be put in would all be really appreciated!!

I'm mostly aiming to just play the game with combat, NPC tweaks while also allowing for enslavement of my PC and of defeated NPC's.

I'm still at the beginning and I try to make the adult mods work better with NMM but I think I'll have to learn how to use Mod Organizer and Loot :,)

Cheers ^^.  Mod Organizer I have to say really is the best.  With Loot, it can help you find solutions to your problems 9/10

Hey, surely use loot for the load order.Also if you want use wryebash and mergeplugins to minimize the number of the esp, if you get near the limit.
Also use save game script cleaner, specially if you unistall a mod.
And a mod i suggest using cause it reduced my ctd's a lot, ssme skyrim start up memory editor.

Thankfully I'm doing okay ESP wise, and I have Game script cleaner.  SSME SKyrim? I'll check that out, thank you for the suggestion.

i did not see anything major that jumped out at me, but i did leave some notes (in color) in you mod list and load order and a few notes below, 

that may be helpful

 

anything that adds multiple ESM/ESP files you will have to manually check to be sure they are in the correct order.

 

something else to check is mods (addons too) to make sure they load in correct order (ie addons whether or not they are technically a separate mod, that affect stuff

should load in vanilla order ie insects begone main, then dawnguard addon, then hearthfires addon, then dragonborn addon).  example would be spots 36 and 37 above,

just reverse their order, doing this type thing makes sure that anything corrected by later additions does its job correctly.

 

also i would suggest you install crash fixes (https://www.loverslab.com/files/file/2551-crash-fixes/) as it can help with issues (and let you break skyrim's default string limit),

but you should start a new game after installation.  for save game cleaning i would suggest you use Fallrim tools 

(https://www.loverslab.com/files/file/2885-fallrimtools-script-cleaner-and-more/) as it will let you clean saves that have broken the default string limit already.

You know what would be cool? If there was a way to download completed mod lists from people who've got a good setup. I mean, let's say I really like how person A's game looks and I like the mods they're using, so I'd just cleanly install the game and click on one massive download that would get me all the mods they're using and keep them in the same order. I know that's not possible, but I've spent so many hours over the years breaking my game and trying to fix it, that would be a godsend.

A lot of the peeps who post 'let's play' vids on youtube post their mod lists. So:

1. Find one you like.

2. Install the mods.

3. Mess about with them till you break your game.

One thing I would recommend is replacing the official hi res texture packs with optimized hi res textures mods available on Nexus.  It's because the official hi res textures are allegedly inefficient and heavier on system memory than they need to be, and of course when you're pushing the limit with hi res textures every little bit counts.  It's called Optimized Vanilla Textures.

Safety Load (I know some sources say it's unnecessary, but I've always done well with it and it fixed my infinite loading screen issues)

and of course go through the performance optimization tutorials on Nexus and other sites if you haven't already checked them out.

 

ParkControl (it unparks your cpu cores so they're much more responsive to Skyrim's memory demands)

Cleanmem (cleans up memory processes and frees up ram to help you keep from hitting the ctd ram limit)
