Hello

I have recently added Tirk the Riekling into my game. he is a Riekling follower and really cool. I was at The Companions Hall and i told him to wait here. he agreed and said he would wait there for me. i then went into a seperate room...came back a bit later and he is not there. I had no message that he had left or gone anywhere. the time i was apart from him was only about 5 mins realtime.

How can i recall or materialise him back infront of me? is their a Console command that i can type that will put Tirk infront of me again? would it be the placeatme one? and what exactly should i type?

Hope soemone can help because i have looked every in that hall and all over whiterun and cant find him. he may have been returned to Windhelm docks but thats soooo far away and if there is a way i can cheat and put him back with me that be so cool.

Thankies x

You need to find its ObjectReference ID.

The quickest way is to open the mod with Tes5Edit, expand Cells and goto the very first cell where it appears.

You should have a reference to it, and the reference will have the ID.

Then you can use the console command:

Player.moveTo 140abcde

Where "140abcde" should be the ID you found with Tes5Edit. The first two numbers should be the mod id of the mod adding the follower in your load order.

Your character will be teleported to the location where this guy is.

Following CPU's instructions will move your player to the riekling. Using player.placeatme xxxxxxx will create a copy of the riekling where you are. This is not a good thing for a named NPC. Might I suggest asking in the Tirk mod support forum?

In such cases I use an alternative way: make a save, load previous save, where follower is still with me, click on she/he inside console menu (this shows it's ID and be useful fur next command) Also it can be done using "prid %follower_ID%", but I'm too lazy to open mods in creation kit just for that. Then I load last save, but with follower's ID, and simply use "moveto player" command, and this won't copy, but exactly move required NPC to player.

Thank you all ever so much for your kind suggestions and instant help. I really was stuck on a solution and you all have provided useful and helpful positive advice. This is what i love about this community.

The winning solution in this case was the Are You There mod. i checked it out first on Nexus to just make sure it was reliable by reading the posts and description. Then i installed it and carefully followed its instructions. This mod does everything you all suggested! i dont have to even touch the command console. It located the mod, located the actor i wanted to find and control and then controlled it and placed Tirk right at my feet AND i now have him marked in the game so i can always see where he is on the map.

So thank you again
