the arm bug is the issue where arms dont move, when in motion such as casting spells and blocking, thats what the unpb mod fixed. An example is moving forward while blocking with a shield and you dont raise the shield. There is another arm issue thats different from those two which have been around since cherry's first release, and that is the dual wield issue where the offhand weapon will flip while moving, also fixed in calyps unpb mod. All thse arm issues are due to cherry's original skeleton.hkx.

its impossible. for me any way. i think that would be governed by the body mesh/ hkx files. i know ver little about editing those. the skeleton just doesnt change as your weight changes, only the body mesh changes. as for more bounce the bigger the breasts i think would involve the animations, body mesh and hkx files all to be edited. i dont even know how it could be done.

Does anyone know of any armors or clothes made for UNP/UNPB with TBBP support?

Everything I've managed to find so far is only for variants of the CBBE body.

 

I could, probably, with some effort, convert my favorite armors myself, but like 90% of the people here, I'm both lazy, and have too much work on my hands as it is :)

So, for the UNPB-TBBP, do I need the _1stperson file and the other 4 files in the Character Assets folder, from the UNPB-BBP files, and how do I apply the UNPB-TBBP body to the Lunari race?

the only things you need from here for that are the animations and the skeleton and obviously the UNPB TBBP body mesh. you will want to use the other stuff from the UNPB v2.2x if you want a custom TBBP skeleton check my mod or make a request and i can take care of it. as for adding it to a custom race if the race has its own folders for the meshes (meaning it doesnt use the same ones as the vanilla races) then i would say just copy the body meshes and the skeletons (if the custom race has its own separate skeletons) and paste them overwriting the original ones. if your like alot of bounce use troublemaker's version if its too much bounce or you want it a little more subtle try my version.

Modified calyps/xp32's UNPB-BBPx body for TBBP

 

I used Skulltyrant's modification as a base and attached the bones to the body and added weighting.

Thanks for the answer. I replaced the Lunari's body mesh files with the UNPB-TBBP, but as for skeleton files, do 1stperson files count? Because it has 4 files that are 1stperson.nif, 2 for the body, and 2 for the hands: 1stpersonfemalebody_0.nif 1stpersonfemalebody_1.nif 1stpersonfemalehands_0.nif and 1stpersonfemalehands_1.nif. Do I leave those as-is, or delete and replace?

I check this thread hourly, if not, daily, hoping for some new releases.

no those arent the skeletons. if the race folder doesnt have any skeletons then it uses the same ones as the Vanilla NPC's. make sure the hand and feet meshes are from the UNP/UNPB mod. same with the head unless the race uses a different style head mesh (the ears are different from human ears etc) then just use that mesh. that should help reduce seams. since the race doesnt have its own skeletons you need to replace the ones the vanilla races use.

I still don't understand why they started using seperate body-meshes for custom races without any real reason in the first place, especially when it's only the naked body that is seperate while all outfits revert to whatever replacer is used for them.

It'd be so much easyer for users if they'd support all body-types with textures (or leave that to other modders) and use the normal meshes.

there are quite a few reasons. 1 its much easier to make a custom race when you use separate meshes. take the zazmels drow race for example, it uses a different head mesh from the vanilla ones. same with dagi-raht. 2 it makes it so your char can be different from all other characters. if the custom race youre using uses its own skeleton you can use different weapons placements an have the rest of the races use the vanilla ones. you can use 2 different body meshes like say UNP for your char and CBBEv3 for the vanilla females. as for what you suggest about a single texture for all body types as far as i know its impossible to do. i know of several people who have tried and as of yet have not been able to. being a modder myself doing things the easy way sometimes isnt always the best way to do it.

At least for me, there are no seperate body-meshes for Dagi-Raht, only seperate head-meshes, a pair of eye-meshes and an ear-mesh.

A seperate head-mesh would still work with every body, as long as the neck-area is the same. And if it's different, changing the body the race uses isn't that easy anyway, as the head might start floating.

My idea wasn't creating one texture that works for all body-types, that's completely impossible by now with the great differences in their layout.

It was more like for example the Dagi-Raht are made:

The author uses the vanilla meshes and adds a set of textures for every body-type (one for vanilla, one for CBBE, one for UNP, ...). At least that's how I'd set up the mod if I'd create it. Not that I'd be able to actually create any of these textures myself.

 

Basicly, what I don't like about custom races with seperate bodies is the fact, that it's only the naked body that's changed. The moment I use clothes or armour, it'll revet back to vanilla or the replacer of choice for the outfits, usually combined with drastic changes in the body-shape, or, for more revealing clothing ugly texture-problems. It's probably the same reason most people want to have the armour-mods they like for their body-mod.

 

One question that actually concerns TBBP:

The walking animations look ugly on everyone wearing long clothing, even more than it was with vanilla-animations or Catwalk-fix (which I used for a long time).

Will there be animations with smaller steps at some point?

Or am I mistaken that the steps are greater than with what I used before TBBP?

hey, anyone having this problem in Skyrim:Dawnguard DLC where the boobs of the vampires are crushed?

 

only happens to vampires though hmm
