tampabrad Posted January 23, 2018 Posted January 23, 2018 I'm not sure on how to take a screenshot with my steam controller. I have two down in my library when I start steam but that was by accident. I know there is a way if I got them by accident. The f12 jus changes my brightness, window and g button I have no clue where they go. That being said I'm sure that if I knew how to use controller it would be much easier if I could use controller where they go right too my steam library.

dharvinia Posted January 23, 2018 Posted January 23, 2018 In answer to your question Just to the right of your "F12" key is a key that says "Prt Sc" and "Sys Sq" This key will take what ever is on your screen and save it in your computer. If you are playing say FO4, it will store it in your fallout 4 games folder. Example: c:/ Program Files (x86)/Steam/Steamapps/common/Fallout 4.

myuhinny Posted January 23, 2018 Posted January 23, 2018 If you have a gaming computer you'll also have 2 sets of keys that can do this. My keyboard has the normal F1 to F12 but they also have another set on the left hand side of the keyboard that have keys G1 to G12. I use the G12 one the most myself as the key is right there by my left hand and hitting it is faster and easier then trying to hit the one a the top.

I have a tendency to assume everyone is a native English speaker when I run into them at first on the internet, and if I don't check myself I treat them as such - a bad assumption on my part on a message board where you never know who you're talking to. Judging from his reply, whatever he searched was different from what I searched and where I got the answer immediately, he didn't. There's other things that compound when I act like that, but this isn't the Loogie Psychoanalysis Hour. Short of it is, I should have put the effort into helping that I instead put into being a dick.
