myuhinny Posted January 4, 2018 Posted January 4, 2018 I would check the inventory of each one that appears this way in your game and see what armor/outfit they have in their inventory. My guess would be that the ones that appear nude will all have the same armor/outfit in their inventory. Then you'll be able to find a way to fix it. I had before a armor that caused a CTD when I looted someone of all their stuff so I started removing 1 thing at a time till I was able to loot all of them but the one that was causing the crash I looked at the name of the armor and then I found a replacer and used that to overwrite the bad one and everything went back to normal.
KoolHndLuke Posted January 4, 2018 Posted January 4, 2018 I would think maybe a mod conflict? Happens when you have many clothing/armor mods I think. Skyrim is weird like that anyway- Lydia regularly takes off her panties for no apparent reason. My guess is she's just a filthy little whore. But it could be the game too...
BigBeautifulAphrodite Posted January 4, 2018 Posted January 4, 2018 Perhaps you could show us your mod load order? (or your mod list) Some mods conflict terribly with each other. Sometimes it can also be the mod organizer you use. i've always had issues similar to yours when using nexus mod organizer.
Lodakai Posted January 5, 2018 Posted January 5, 2018 If you use paradise halls... there is a bug that cause some bandits to end up naked if spawned after cloning. There is no real fix except turning debug options on and making sure nothing fails on enslavement. That's only if you use paradise halls however. Similar mods that clone npc's may have similar results. Also make sure you are exporting your bodyslide files to the correct body type. If the file export does not match the body... you could end up with invisible clothing. Make sure you also have the mesh assets for your custom clothing, some downloads require you to get a main file with these meshes.. make sure you have all of them. Lastly make sure you did not change slots of an item with Xedit without having changed them in the nif file as well... the slots need to match.
dboura Posted January 5, 2018 Posted January 5, 2018 Any mod that makes the NPC's sleep naked could cause that too. Especially if your game is heavily modded. Script lag can cause them to not redress when they get off their beds.
ingeloak Posted January 5, 2018 Posted January 5, 2018 I have a few NPCs that walk around nude, too. I don't have many clothing mods, just a skimpy armor one for SOS called Revealing Armors. I also have the Devious Devices suite, DD for the Masses, and Cursed Loot, but that should not affect clothes. More than a few of the "esteemed" wizards at the college are now nudists. Faralda looks like a common phlathrag on payday. Not a stitch on.

BigBeautifulAphrodite Posted January 6, 2018 Posted January 6, 2018 Devious devices tends to interfere sometimes, I once started a new game and the devious gear wouldn't show up and I couldn't unlock the armor, so my poor khajiit had to run around all of Skyrim with a gag in her mouth and other various provocative gear strapped to her. Also, the mod list is usually saved as a text file located where you installed NMM (primarily found at C:/Games/Nexus Mod Manager/Skyrim). Do you use HDT at all? And what body mod do you use, CBBE or UNP? It may seem like a hassle, but Mod Organizer by Tannin (found here: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/1334/?) tends to run outfits and armors better. You can associate both mods on Nexus and Loverslab with it, and have an overall better experience. Be sure that you use the following programs in order after you download all the mods you wish to use: 1. LOOT (this will effectively correct any mod load issues you have) 2. TESV Edit (you can clean mods and verify the integrity of the mod load order) 3. Bodyslide 4. FNIS After you do all of this, then SKSE should be safe to boot. If your game fails to continue to show clothing, its probably a lack of a clothing esp. Some clothing mods have a base file and then a modified file that you download with it.
