Benny_adss43 Posted January 1, 2018 Posted January 1, 2018 Wow Julie! Thank you! Is there a chance to get Josh's wonderful Heels into Sims 4?? would be so great! Happy new year! 1
Julie J Posted January 1, 2018 Author Posted January 1, 2018 You're welcome. Boots I can manage with, shoes are totally different and a lot harder. So will be some time before I can convert the shoes, if at all. 1
JoshQ Posted January 2, 2018 Posted January 2, 2018 I think the “easiest” way to make a conversion is making an “impossible feet” using the default S4 mesh, that way you won’t have to deal with the UV map and it will remain compatible with all kinds of garments As far as I know, and if I’m wrong please correct me, you still can’t elevate your sims height the way it’s possible on TS3 so you need to “scale” the feet or just don’t go as high. But once you have your custom feet ready the rest should be easy, my shoes are made to be edited. 2
johnpage Posted January 2, 2018 Posted January 2, 2018 Joshq shoes for s4 OH wow! 2018 is going to be a great year woop woop. 1
Julie J Posted January 2, 2018 Author Posted January 2, 2018 I think the only shoes that would work are ones with straps around the ankle to hide the line. You're right Josh you still cannot elevate the sims height.
BloodberrySmoothie Posted January 5, 2018 Posted January 5, 2018 If I may ask, where is the mesh underwear from?

You're right Josh you still cannot elevate the sims height. Not necessarily, you can join extra vertices and do the same on the UV map, then any line or gap on the ankle should vanish (I'm oversimplifying things but at least that's how I did it on S3, via milkshape). Now, at least for closed shoes I thing you can use S4 mesh without modifications (beyond the shape of course). Using Blender instead of Milkshape can also help to adapt the shoes faster and because the textures I use are laughably simple you won’t have much trouble adapting them. Anyway, good job Julie. I know whom I going to leech content from when I make the jump 2
